There are to many timing mistakes about background. This shows fast work less quality even if its made by “gg” :((
August 18th, 2009 at 6:43 pm
And now they’ve released a patch to, presumably, fix those errors. I imagine their typesetter is fucking tired of this bullshit, so I wasn’t surprised to see them.
August 18th, 2009 at 7:02 pm
I already watched so a patch or something like is not important for me :D

Gah I give up, been messing around with that bloody stupid xvidforps3 for over 20 minutes and still can’t get it to even see the subtitles encoded in the mkv (would never have used it at all but alltoavi has trouble with SZS’s subs because of all the signs and stuff)
Does anyone have a ddl of the avi please?
August 19th, 2009 at 6:22 pm
Has the thought of actually reading what it says here ever crossed your mind?
August 19th, 2009 at 6:26 pm
Yes that is what I did when I tried it out with an episode of valyria chronicles and it ended up taking ages and ending up with no subtitles.
August 19th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
No, I mean reading it. Not just downloading the program and hitting encode. Try reading the words that are written there.
August 19th, 2009 at 6:36 pm
Yes that is what I did, and it just refuses to work, I’ll try uninstalling and reinstalling again, but if that doesn’t drastically change something I honestly can not see why this program is so recomended.
August 19th, 2009 at 6:43 pm
^Sorry for double post don’t know how to edit
As long as the preview is indicative of what you get then it seems to work after uninstalling, redownloading and then reinstalling.
It might be worth just putting that down in the FAQ somewhere just in case anyone else is having the same problems that I was.
August 19th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
I guess it’s only recommended for people who can read. You seem to keep on skipping over the part where it says to install the latest CCCP and make sure “Autoload VSFilter” is checked in the options. I don’t know what you did to your computer to make it slow enough that it takes “ages” to encode though, so I can’t help you with that. I can suggest that you read the part where it tells you how to speed up h.264 decoding and the part where it tells you that lowering the resolution will speed things up though. Aside from that, if you actually screwed with some registry settings that pointed them to shitty directshow filters, all I can suggest is that you get CCCP insurgent and Revo uninstaller to take care of what you can. Or just do yourself a favor and reinstall your OS.
EDIT:

^Look at the double post above yours, you must have been still typing yours or looking for the kyon when I posted it.
August 19th, 2009 at 6:57 pm
Thanks for trying to help anyway, hope the solution that worked for me (mentioned in the post abovve yours) can be of help in the future.
August 19th, 2009 at 6:59 pm
I edited and added the facepalmn because of the post above mine.
In any case, the only reason anyone would have the problem you did is if they didn’t follow the instructions properly, or they’ve borked their computer.
I still suggest that you read the second half of my above comment.
August 19th, 2009 at 7:06 pm
Probably a borked computer, I think it’s on it’s way out tbh, planning on backing it up reformatting it soon.
August 19th, 2009 at 7:29 pm
I tend to reformat every 3 months or so. Keeps the computer clean and I get to have fun reinstalling all my shit. I look forward to it.
Yeah, I know I’m weird, but that’s what happens when you spend 90%+ of your time(excluding sleep) on a computer.

@Booyadude does that one in all program really work? That might be helpful.
I using seperate program to convert mkv to avi.
Than mkvmerge gui to for muxing.
Subtitleworkship for timing and save as .srt.
Than aviReComp for .srt into .avi
I use all those programs for other stuff too but that is the long way i go about it, i will check out that post u linked.
August 19th, 2009 at 9:04 pm
Lvhina: No, it doesn’t actually work. I’m just trolling everyone and Iduno is lying.
Your method sounds like fun.
August 19th, 2009 at 9:14 pm
@Booyadude It’s such a “round-a-bout” method i mainly use that when i rip subs out of .ogm to .avi
August 19th, 2009 at 9:17 pm
ah, forgot to include i mainly came upon that way when i was timing subs on a love hina encode lol
August 19th, 2009 at 9:18 pm
Well, it should work fine with OGM as well, unless it has multiple sub tracks, in which case it will select the first one.
August 20th, 2009 at 2:27 am
@Booyadude that program is nice, saves me lots of time , the reason why i went in that method was because i had torrent from demonoid of love hina when the shitty encoder wrote in his advertisment for the first 16 seconds, i had to trim the .srt and video than later i found out the audio was a -1 second delay ,
The thing you mentioned is more better for anything that doesn’t require Tooooo much editing thanks
