ACG is an established sub group. SFW is just a random sub that couldn’t take it anymore and decided to sub the show themselves to draw attention to xxxHOLiC. Don’t know why it took so long though, xxxHOLiC is one of my favourite anime styles. It’s dark, has humour, and an actual plot for each episode.

Tokyo Revelations and these new OVAs are mostly for the sake of cross overs and storyline continuation. S1-S2 are pretty much standalone, but if you want TRC stuff, Tokyo n these new ones are must haves.

I stopped watching xxxHolic during season 1 because they didn’t do any of the crossover material to TRC, and I sort of lost interest (Despite Production IG doing the production of both xxxH *and* the Tokyo arc OVAs). Does anyone know if season 2 or this OVA touch on TRC’s plot, or is it completely contained like most of season 1?

Not another season, OVAs. There are going to be two for both xxxHOLiC & Tsubasa Chronicles :D
