LOL weird. I was uploading at 67% to DepositFiles and it’s at 167kbps though. Then I started uploading it to the same place with the Naruto file, it went at 2mbps >_> So I restarted this upload to DepositFile thinking that it will run at 2mbps too. Gosh, no. It ran at the same speed :S

Coalguys isn’t all that bad.. Sure, they make some weird and maybe disturbing karoke animations, but the subs are ok.. You can understand which words other subbers would have changed, which makes it possible for you to fill those in urself. However, the word use of coalguys isn’t bad either.

Hi there, well… i´m kinda new in here(yes you can call me a noob hehe), i’ve been downloading here for a long time, but i’ve finally decided to register hehe. So anyways, thanks for toradora, i really love this series. But i was wondering if anyone could help me, i’ve been downlading all toradora and clannad after and well, as i really love those series i decided to upload them to my ipod, but my big surprise comes when i tried to convert my mkv to avi so then i can convert them to an ipod readable mp4. I’ve searched the net and came with an answer that i hoped cpuld solve my dilema… i convert my mkv to avi with ffmpegx (i have mac btw) but the subtitles are way too small, well if i saw them in my dvd or lap there’s no problem, the problem is in my ipod, i can’t see a thing… i read the faq, and saw that if i asked nicely Veritias could make an avi version, but i don’t want to bother Veritias with all toradora (thanks good clannad has avi release lol), so i was wondering if ou could explain me how can i achieve what Veritias can and i cannot hehehe

You want an avi file or an ipod readable mp4??? Also which subgroup are you converting to avi/mp4, or doesn’t that really matter?

Well i want an avi(Xvid) so i can make a ipod readable mp4, becuase i use isquint to transform my video files to an ipod readable mp4, but for mkv, isquint desn’t work, it makes a mp4 without sound nor subs… so i use ffmpgex for those cases, but ffmpgex makes my mp4 ipod but the subs are way too small to read… and the subgruop really doesn’t matter, i’ve succesfully converted mkv to avi/mp4 from coalguys, aero and gg (with unreadable subs in my ipod though), i even used alltoavi(yes i bought windows and installed on my mac for the sake of solving my problem..but it didn’t work sniff…) and the subs are also way too small too… so any help would be apreciated…

Good thing you got Windows. Alright, I’ve managed to compress that crappy guide into 14 easy steps.

Step 1: Download megui.
Step 2: Install, update, and import the presets you want.
Step 3: Open video in megui.
Step 4: Make any changes you want in the first tab of the smaller window.(Reccomended=Resize to 704×400)
Step 5: Click save, and close the new video window that pops up.
Step 6: Select one of the video presets you imported.(Reccomended=Xvid HQ) Lower quality is faster though.
Step 7: Configure your audio settings. (Reccomended=LAME MP3 128kbps)
Step 8: Select “AutoEncode” and tell it what file size you want.(Reccomended=170MB)
Step 9: Click “Queue” and go to the “Queue” tab in the main window. At the bottom, press “Start”.

Hurray, everything should work perfectly now. That is unless, the groups subs were already too small.

Correction on my last post, do NOT get MkvTools! What you need is MkvToolnix.

Correction 2: Alright, make that 15 steps. Download http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VSFilter_DirectVobSub and take ONLY the VSFilter.dll, and put it in, for example, “C:Program FilesAvisynth 2.5Plugins”
Then, before you save the “textsub” part, go to the bottom and select “Load DLL”, Then navigate to the “VSFilter.dll” and load it.

NOW, everything should be fine.

Like booyadude said, are you up to date with the latest .net framework? Also you could update ATi Catalyst driver or replace it with an non-catalyst driver.

ok i got all that now what about the audio settings part i dont see what im suppose to do there.

On the main window, there should be the video encoding section and an audio section. You should probably just pick “LAME MP3 *scratchpad*”. Then click on “Config”. The choos the settings you want.

yes im using a video without subs the erro is for the audio when i press start it just says error…

try right clicking and putting the video into postponed, then tell me if the video works.

Because at first i also had lots of errors with the audio, it said it couldn’t find bla bla bla, so i was all frustrated but then the answer appear before my eyes, did you already download all the updates og megui and already installe .Net framnework? Because the megui you dowwnload is only the program by itself, the codecs and all the stuff you need has to be downloaded via updates, also you have to have installed cpp or whatever it’s called

Well, If you got that error, I think it would be best to be on the safe side.

then in the main window of megui press CTRL+U and let the updates come to you hehehe, or you can download everything you need manually and then located them manually too… that’s the hard way though…

Have you tried to remake the avs script and restart megui?? And reboot your pc, sometimes helps. ;)
