i use VLC whats the difference?

VLC does not show the subtitles correctly, vlc is a program which has all the codecs included but it doesn’t show it properly and chooses a bad font for you etc.
If you use cccp which includes all the needed codecs for any anime episode be it avi or mkv, the subtitles will show great.
also it comes with media player classic which is awesome ^_^.

yeah cccp is a nice codec pack. i used vlc a lot before but i wanted to see the subbers translation for Op’s and Ed’s for songs, and thats what media player classic is for

its pretty much sex

CCCP + MPC for anime, VLC for everything else, simple as that.

CCCP ftw. I’ve been using it since I found out about a month ago and I never went back to VLC. VLC was nice, but SLC had a bit better interface. But the best is still WMP with CCCP, sometimes MPC with CCCP.
