If you guys haven’t found out yet, AnimeTake’s MU user account was stolen…again…So all these direct downloads are being manually uploaded by Veritias. By manual, I mean, he downloads them, then uses his own MU account to upload them again. Basically he’s using his own bandwidth to download then upload. Now if each episode is about 150-300mb, download and uploading means about 300-600mb of his own bandwidth being used up for just 1 episode.
So, all of you, should give a huge thanks to Veritias.

I use the VNC server as well, but if there’s more than one I DL myself too, btw it’s no faster on VNC server…
oh btw, fail timing in end of this episode (h264 version), at least for me… and for others too…
You need to stop the seeding, the chihiro torrents always have huge amounts of leechers. I’m sure the server has a faster connection than you ;) or we can try rapidshare + megaupload, rapidshare offers remote transfer without premium
Right now I only got 30/30 mb/s (or even worse sometimes, shitty provider), however when I’m at home I got same connection as the server (100/100 mb/s that is). I closed uTorrent BEFORE I started watching, so no that’s not the problem, the timing is. Oh did I forgot to mention that manually uploading to MU (without premium?) is limited to ~300kb/s, or so it seems as the server does not upload it any faster nor do I.
Oh noes I think we should really move to rapdishare but the speed is capped for non free users
thanks veritas for your noble sacrifice. as for the theif. is it a possiblity that its another animetake member or something. i mean mu accounts dont just get hacked for any particular reason right?
Err, it’s no big deal really. As for the MU account, many people had access that’s most likely the reason, someone turned out to be an asshole… However once we get it back, we’ll pick people to have access more carefully.
I hope you guys get your account back ASAP, so that the normal fast DDL service may resume :)
Also, i may be able to help you guys. Maybe help set up mirrors? I am able to download from megaupload quite comfortably, and can provide a DDL link to rapidshare.com within 30mins after the MU link is posted (since RS is the most popular host, for convenience). If there are requests for more hosts, i will try to upload to more. Maybe set up a poll; what other mirror sites besides MU this site’s visitors prefer?
Anyways, just trying to help.
