i´ve heard that they wont be airing “the dissapearance of h. s.” so each episode of endless eight would count as 1. meaning that its not going to end with this season

I’m almost frightened that they will only end the Endless Eight on the last week of August. But I think all the fans would have died by then… I like the episodes, I like the yellow float in this episode, but I think the subbers are getting bored. The poor seiyuus are getting bored. The fans are going to weep with joy when Kyon finally does his homework.

I have the same speculation as jabman025. We aren’t seeing any episode number on each airing right? It’s just the counting of the episodes has frozen as well, like the story progression.

I’m placing my bet on what someone mentioned above. I think they probably got green lit for two seasons, so they can afford to play around with this a bit. Either that or maybe they just really don’t want to do it anymore. You never know… Kyoani may have had something else they wanted to do, and were not given a choice but to do Haruhi instead. To use another Evangelion example when people had fits about the ending the director gave them a new one… In which almost every character was shot in the head. LOL
