I’m very happy… I really was against the concept of them doing Disappearance this season because I’ve wanted them to do sighs ever since I read the novel. Disappearance can wait 3 more years, but this I wanted to see.

@ Green Tea… Truthfully I expect we’ll either see or at least hear about Disappearance sometime around the holidays, but I was worried for awhile that they would skip Sighs which I think is one of the coolest stories in the whole series.

Everyone whose read the entire Sighs arc seems to hate it almost as much as the anime Endless Eight…

Maybe I’m just biased about that novel because my favorite episode of the anime is Ep 00, and finding out what went on behind the camera was rather fascinating to me.

Green Tea. I’m pretty surprised to hear that. I also found that novella to be pretty interesting. Though nothing really progresses with each character, it is fun to see exactly what happened during the making of that awful movie, lol.

Hmm… In an old list Sighs would indeed have been after Endless Eight and would have 3 parts. Then there should have been some “old” episodes – well that the show some “old” episodes afterwards makes sense – and then the next new episodes would start the “Disappearance”-Arc.
I wonder if this will happen that way and if how much of the “Disappearance”-Arc they will be able to show.
The best would be if all eight “Endless Eight” episodes would indeed be considered as one – after all they didn’t even change the title (add the Part x to it) which they did in Sighs again – but I guess this is unlikely but as I added between the “-” it isn’t entirely impossible.

can not read kyon’s headband at all or make it out.

don’t ask me what they mean. chinese phrases and japanese phrases are completely diferent.

This arc is the lead up to the 1st episode of season one, if they do this right it should be good. It might even come close to making up for putting us through Endless Eight………Nah not likely.

They probably animated every endless eight episode before the season even started then just spammed them for 3 months while they made some decent episodes…

Or not, well, I can hope.

‘Episode 00′ is just part of the movie’s name (The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina Episode 00). It’s still counted as the first episode of the 2006 airing (and will likely be episode 25 of this one).
