Last day I downloaded Abyss ep 1 and it wasn’t subbed :/

I assure you, they are subbed.

The reason why you can’t see subs is cause your player doesn’t recognize it. Here at animetake, we recommend CCCP.

I don’t know how to get CCCP on xbox…but if hardsubs are released some admin may post it.

err… damg i really wish i could watch mkv. but for some weird reason CCCP wont let or somtin cuz my video just goes slow…..

I would never recommend this, but in ur case, try VLCplayer (it sucks but for ppl with slow comps, it lets them play mkv with subtitles -fancy fonts and karaoke sometimes). SLCplayer is the one id prefer over VLC but CCCP ftw.

another way to see the subs in any player just download codecs with mkv extentions

For those who cant watch MKV files donwload VLC at Videolan.org
its a player that can play 99% of video files. all u got to do to see the subs is click Video-> subtitle track ->and click enlish. hope this helps ppl

The reason why the majority of anime are released in mkv is because allows files to not lose any quality compared to avi where you need to re-encode a file into xvid which causes it to lose quality.

キングダム (kingudamu) retrieved from a dictionary but I always hear oukoku as kingdom.

Not sure if the japanese word I wrote is pronounced oukoku, but oukoku is definitely kingdom.
