OOh btw problems with the stupid vids. Playing along then the video slows down, as in just the visuals, so the audio still plays at normal rate and then u get a lapse in the video and this gap between synchronisation of audio and video grows wider and wider until by the end of the video the audio is at least 1 minute ahead.

Dont listen to what Sudoku says. Sudoku = doesnt know wtf theyre on about.
Its episode 7 because just as in season 1, all haruhi episodes were aired in complete random order not because some other 7 episodes were aired before. Animetake put them up as episode 1 as in chronological order. For the more thick minds… earliest events in time first. So this is basically the start of the new season.

While our numbers may be in the minority, some of us can read kanji and actually care about the end credits in each individual episode. I am sure that you are aware of the importance of politeness and respect in the Japanese culture, too, Booyadude :)

One more note on a.f.k.’s release: Source material is modified/erased when each character’s tanzaku (wish cards) are shown. This is a big no-no.

I have to point out that among the three releases compared above, Mazui’s translations are the best overall and most representative of the original work, despite a few QC issues here and there in its release. I was hoping that Mazui would issue a v3, but that hasn’t happened yet.

The well-known a.f.k group has published its release, too, but unfortunately it uses the AVI container (instead of MKV, which would allow softsubs) and is encoded in XviD (instead of H.264).

Coalgirls uses ordered chapters for this series, so I’ve dropped its release right off the bat. (I consider the usage of ordered chapters to be grossly offensive, inconsiderate, and disrespectful to the production staff.)

Sushi’s v2 release does not use ordered chapters, so I will probably check it out, along with a few other groups’ releases, if time permits.
