The end was a touch anticlimactic in my opinion…Sadly I really do not think there will be a second season.Despite the ending I really loved the show, how the people came together and went on a “witch-hunt”(if they would have kept score the old man would have won), how the doctor became a true leader, but I was expecting Natsuno to play a bigger part. Anyway hope there will be more shows like this one and best of luck Uploader!

There will be two BD/DVD only episodes which fit between 20-21 and 21-22 so it’s not quite over yet. :)

It is the final, but there are enough open ends to have a second season – will have to see how DVD sales go.

OMG!…I Loved this series. I had no idea what to expect or where it was going to go but I LOOOVED the music and Megumi.

This series is a classic IMO.

Too bad Megumi dies without even knowing Natsuno is around

Ending kinda sucked in my opinion.

Why did old man okawa have to die, he was arguably the best character…and to be killed by one of the worst characters in the series, all to please some moral high ground that kids should never be murdered even though its a fictional anime.

The two characters most deserving of death predictably got to live.

Well I’m sure we can all relax easy. There will most certainly be a second season to shiki in due time. They left many openings for a second season in the last episode. The most obvious was the survival of the Shiki Mistress and Mr.Muroi parting from the village in a car. Which would make a perfect sequel/second season for Shiki. So lets cross are fingers and wait for SEASON 2 OF SHIKI!!!

I, for one think it’s a great ending. This is a story that took place in Sotoba. What gonna happen with the survivors is another story for another day. Shiki, great series.

The anime diverted from the manga. Probably because of the number of episodes. Certain fairly important things where different. Going to continue to read the manga now.

ROFL, Final? Because the titel of this episode is “The Final Hunt”? I don’t get you guys. Since 22 Episodes they have a Preview in the credits. And they have it now as well. I don’t know the Manga and I don’t wanna spoil myself. But im 100 % sure ther will be another Episode :)
