Plot Summary: Sotoba is a small, quiet village where life has always been peaceful. Natsuno Yuuki, who moved from the city, hates it. However, recently a strange rash of mysterious deaths has begun to torment the village, and an epidemic is suspected. As various investigations continue, the truth behind the deaths becomes clear. The town is being attacked by vampires.

We’re screwed! Funimation has already gotten their hands on this! With movies like Twilight and shows like True Blood being really big right now,Funimation nows it’ll sell well in America….ugh.
So we’ll probably only get this show from Horriblesubs because all they do is steal stuff from streams ahahaha! That’s why they call themselves horrible!

360p cuz it’s from the funi stream. the transport stream just showed up fairly recently last i checked so we’ll see if a group does it now that there’s a good raw source

Since this release is hardsubbed I can’t remux it with my 720p raw unless I find a script so I’m gonna start the search and if anyone can get one and provide me with it please do as it’ll help accelerate/allow the release of my 720p remux.

I personally haven’t read the manga or novel for this, but it was written in 1998. And it’s supposed to be very similar to Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. So no fruity sparkle-pires here.
Also one of the voices for the characters is Gackt.(fangirls rejoice)
He was Genesis in FF VII Crisis Core.

Hmm… not sure what to say about this one, but at least it’s not Twilight vampires… you’re right.
I’d just like to say that I don’t really like how this one is animated – long faces, skinny awkward looking limbs, disproportionate breasts on the women…. I’m sorry, but WHAT? o_O
They also try to mix in humor and a dose of gore / rotting flesh at and in between the most inappropriate times.
This anime is sketchy at best. We’ll see after episode 2 lol.

Just watched it very good show it felt like an acid trip, or maybe it’s just me?
I liked the “crumpled” looking art style. Backgrounds and CG also looking very sharp. Even the music was well placed and creepy.
