I’m a big fan of the game, largely due to it’s unique form of presentation. But I must say, the anime does the story better. That emotional trip of despair, avoidance, putting up a strong front, flashbacks, and ultimately breaking down, I thought the execution was done well, in a way the game never touched upon. That part when Welkin says “My tears won’t come out.” was, although sad, done so well story-wise.
