It really is sad to see this series ending, I read the manga first but the anime really captures a lot more of the emotion of the characters. As for all Sekirei fans out there (including me, of course!) just keep following the story from the manga. It is still being scanlated (for those of us who can't read japanese) so it should be fine, even if it will be a while until they have enough chapters to consider a second season, which might or not happen. In case in does, we can expect it next year.
