1080p would be great, although i wouldnt get the regular eps in 1080…too much bw usage. now a super special,movie or such? why not. another thing to consider is the many who dont seed. which leaves the likes of me seeding to 300 with a stupid 10k upl else i cant browse for sheets..

The translation of the last episode by Ryuumaru was really bad. Strange, if you think that they did an amazing 9° episode.

I would LOVE 1080p too. Not only for movies, but also for normal episodes. I normally put episodes to download and go gaming, so I don’t care if it takes hours to download.

I don’t think that ryuumaru is bad.. i like how fast their releases are.
As for preference, i’ll go for Ayako,
i understand their subs better and that doesn’t mean Ayako’s better.

in the end it comes down to,perhaps, the guy who does qc to make modifications as he sees fit, if he has the power within the group. some subs may ‘look better’ than others because they may be more fluid, but it does not mean the others are bad. it is just the translator’s work envisioned by the outer layers(people) who have worked on it afterwards :)

Wrong, QC never has the power to change ANYTHING he likes. QC just merely points out the errors and the person incharge (usually the group leader) applies the corrections as he sees fit. The real magic is done by editor. And considering that our translator is a Japanese herself and two of our QCs are the most fabulous translators in the fansubbing scene, I cannot think of having any translation mistakes left in.

Also , episode 11 ryuumaru . 9:26 to 9:28 –> Well… It’s definitely not Hagimura.

It’s suppose to be something like it’s impossible for her.

If you really are interested to know just follow /a/ after Ayako releases their episode, and you will see the comparison screens and the comments of people who know what they are talking about (and a lot of people who doesn’t know what they talk about, but that can be skipped).

Not all groups are perfect. Heck, even Ayako’s not perfect sometimes, and I prefer them over Ryuumaru for this series.

Just leave them be and enjoy what’s there to offer. If you wanna complain and/or make changes, isn’t to best to tell the actual group, and not here?

I wasn’t really complaining. We still have Ayako doing an overall good job, so there is no point for me to complain.
It’s just that I couldn’t understand the reason of the ryuumaru’s unstable quality (sometimes excellent, sometimes crappy).

@kache: Sorry if I misunderstood, but I was just trying to protect these guys you know? Since they’re doing stuff most of us wouldn’t be able to do (I presume)

But yeah as I said, they won’t always be perfect, so just bear with what we got. You can try asking them, maybe they can fix it up for v2 releases when / if they decide to do batches?

So you’re saying roughly 200mb per episode ; which is correct. So what kache is trying to prove is to download 600mb worth of ryuumaru’s releases. Roughly 3 Episodes just for “a FEW screens” is what he said. This clearly implies that there are a few slightly off translation within that 3 episodes.
Translation are also not perfect so just acknowledge that your translation are off in some places
I’m not against Ryuumaru.. i find it fine , just like Sub-Desu(in KissXsis) and Coalguys(in B gata H kei)
