hmmm I’ll watch it but I really want Kimi ni Todoke season 2. season 1 was so freaking awesome and they left it without the kiss at the end that happened in the manga.

Kimi ni Todoke had 13 episodes of story stretched into twice as many episodes. It was fun for a while but then it got really dumb.

That’s the same Rio that appears in Dead or Alive Paradise (yeah, I’m a perv). It has nice fanservice and all, but it doesn’t seem to have a guy to spice things up like Yoshimori from Kekkaishi or Kenichi from “Kenichi.” It’s lacking the usual retard for me. There is not story either. I’m dropping this series anyways. To thin this was the first anime I started watching this year.

I agree with Takashi001 and Tormentedsoul, After watching the episode I love the “casino” feel, even with the brassy lounge music during the fight scene. Rio is charming and this episode was a good prologue to the antics we’ll see from some of the support characters. This was at the top of my watch list for this season and it didn’t disappoint.

Downloaded the 480p version just to check what all the fuss was about. It doesn’t have subs, although it claims to have a subtitle track. A subtitle track with no subs? For shame.

The lack of subs doesn’t bother me though, because anyone watching it for the dialogue is a weirdo. Yeah, I went there.

Just finished watching it. Subs work fine for me. Also, someone was right about this being a perverted ecchi version of Yu Gi Oh. Disappointed smh =P

the only thing that i like on this show is gambling. I’m used 2 watching ecchi but this one has 2 many of it. I’ll stay on it for a little while longer if it turns out to be good or a bad series.

Ecchi without nudity is bad enough as it is without the show itself being a steaming pile of bull vomit.

I think it can be safely said that if something were going to be worth watching to the general anime watcher then you’d have HEARD of it by now! This is a niche show, which means only a small number of people familiar with the character will enjoy it. It’s surprising that people that know nothing about it would waste their time and band width watching something that for all intents and purposes is bound to bring them annoyance. Really it takes about 5 seconds to realize it’s not that deep.

Decided long time ago against it so I’m not even trying to watch it :)

I’m pretty sure that she would be fired since she would be making the casino losing money? Unless however she manages to get enough people to come and try their luck, but then wouldn’t the fail rate be higher than the win rate?

I’m so confused. Why am I thinking so deeply about this at 1 in the morning…

She’s been working there long enough to have the manager market her AND have her name become hearsay among the people. So much as to outshine starlets so lets say at least 1 month.

Yet many people are identifying her for the 1st time.

Its a gambling city, and she’s rarely seen so I’d assume that she has limited hours of casino time, to which the customers are unaware of.

That would explain why they’re all there despite not knowing when she’s on shift
That said as bad as the premise for the antagonist was the concluding scenes were garbage.

Little girl equating the worth of her teddy bear to a woman’s full frontal exposure.
Then asking her to be her older sister AFTER that fact.

But not before viewing her as little more than a “thing” for the 1st half of the show.
Top it off with the fact that she casually mentions that the owner is taking advantage of her by placing her in skimpy outfits and doing promotional commercials.

I know its anime, but plenty of it was boring. and very few reasons for being from most of the characters.

How’d something with such inconsistent and vague characters make it through. Good art work i guess.

Not looking for a novel, but sheesh.
Hope this is a 4 episode show.
