i was never a fan of this show, seems like the main focus was alwasy to find a way to show nude or half nude women. the story was kinda weak and i never could finish the first season for the lack of a watchable storyline.

i really wasnt expecting to see this posted after the first season got pulled.

Hentai sets up scenes as a way to get the characters to have sex. Have any penors gone into any vagoos in Queen’s Blade yet? That’s because Queen’s Blade is ecchi, just like a thousand other shows you never hear people complaining about. I, personally, am of the opinion that all series should be posted, regardless of the uploaders particular feelings towards the show. After all, isn’t it all relative?

I admit, I am mostly ignorant about the running of websites, and the owner may feel that a certain show is a waste of bandwidth (or whatever; Insert correct term here). But surely if a website is being run for the purposes of providing something to the masses, and not for ones one personal reasons, then isn’t it for everyone to decide?

Hold a poll about it, perhaps.

How does it not make sense? Queen’s Blade DVD/Blu-ray sales were through the roof, so is merchandise sale (PVC figures, Resin Kits, combat books, oppai mouse pads, trading card game, there’s also a PSP game coming out). Compared to many other more popular shows, Queen’s Blade is doing better at holding itself together. DVD/BR sales for most series are pathetic (15k per volume is pretty damn high) while the pre-order for the first blu-ray DVD was #1 on amazon.jp for a few days.

The key is that all you noted were sales. And people luv their ecchi. Even if this series should be condemned to hell, it is making a bunch of money by playing on people’s sex drive (though that should be common sense)

I actually watched the entire first season in preparation for this. Do you know why? Because I wanted to see if there was ANY good side to QB season one. And guess what? I enjoyed* it. The * being that it wasn’t a good plot.. or funny.. or sexy.. or anything. Same reason I liked Rosario+Vampire: I can watch it and not think or care about anything.

Mindless T&A never hurt anyone. Keep your brain on OFF mode and this series is as fine as any other for most guys.

Queens Blade. The most whorrendous show I have ever tried to watch. In my opinion.

There’s nothing mindless about queen’s blade. Criticizing something that you’ve obviously never seen more than one episode of (if that) is mindless.

This series has a great story with excellent character design and development. I could do without the ecchi crap, but the character development easily trumps the negatives. I don’t even notice the ecchi anymore.

Maybe the haters should actually try watching it. Just a thought.

The bad reputation is mostly the fault of the fansubbers. There have been no decent attempts to translate this series, and not many people understand Japanese so the ecchi garbage is all they see.

How is this so hard for you to believe? It’s basically the same story as any other generic shounen, except the characters are girls and not dudes. Lots of people watch Bleach even though all the characters are flat, the plot is predictable and most of the time in the episodes are dedicated to backstory and reaction shots.

You may not know this, but it’s possible to enjoy a story even though it’s not the greatest thing ever written.

[SFW]’s subs were over 9000% better than [P-Z] for season 1 and I expect the same for this as well. The broken English from [P-Z] is just horrid. That being said, as long as Naga has no problem with it, I intend to make sure all of [SFW]’s releases get posted when they come out, so please be patient (as we all are when waiting for a quality sub) and thanks for your continued patronage.

My viewpoint is if you’re going to have ecchi, I don’t really care. But please have some kind of decent story writing. T&A are fun and all, but unless you’re 14, you burn out on that stuff and are left with: An uninteresting story line, lame fight scenes, and a plot that, along with being entirely predictable, just isn’t all that great.

Feel free to watch it if you like, this is just why I don’t.

SFW subs are much better quality, but their releases for the 1st season were so slow that it irritated me waiting for them; at one point they were about a month behind their rivals.

Personally im watching SFW releases when they come out. I say take it for what it is, a very perverted(ecchi) show, and personally im looking forward to this season, as i took the first as an introduction to the characters, and to the limited plotline. Im hoping to see better action(dont what kind, fight or, well you know) and to see how it turns out in regard to the limited plotline.

If this series removed all the ecchi crap i’d still watch it, because that’s not why I watch it. Of course, ecchi is a hell of a lot more tolerable when the girls actually get naked. Which they do. Constantly.

By the way, the chick with acidic projectile nipple lactations is only one of a whole slew of characters, and she’s a minor character at that. Her main role in the series took place in the first episode of the first season (actually she’s in this episode a good deal as well), so the fact that the ‘haters’ keeps bringing her up as an argument against it only seems to confirm that they haven’t given the series a chance.

None of the other characters are weird like that. One girl is completely bottomless except for a snake around her waist, but that’s about it.

Like all of tv and the internet there will always be gay shows, straight shows and the shows you like to watch. I will be watching this show, but I still cannot see the “good” storyline its supposed to have according to some here.

As for Deathnote:
That anime actually has a freaking good story. Killer notebooks? Yeah, sure never in the real world but come fucking on, it is an anime. There are shitloads of impossible things done in almost every anime. Last I checked breasts are not used as fatal weapons in the real world. (Anyone remember last season of this show by chance?).

My advice: STFU and watch it or GTFO of this post and watch an anime you like. Easy, eh?
