the censors are big black blurs as if a amateur did it but the serie itself is fairly interesting so ill keep watching this

I really don’t have much to say about the OP and ED. Whereas the opening song is kind of catchy, the ending song just didn’t appeal to me at all. Neither of them are anything special though. In fact, based on just what the opening sequence showed and what I had read about the series prior to watching this episode, I was fully expecting an average based-on-an-adult-game harem series. And so I was very pleasantly surprised by what it actually turned out to be: a cute romance series with a good deal of action and a little bit of intrigue. I certainly didn’t expect to see an extended chase scene, guns, swords, and even a combat butler. Of course it’s entirely possible that the action will be nonexistent in the rest of the series, but it made the first episode a lot of fun.

That action plus the beginnings of a love triangle – even though I think it’s pretty clear who Teppei will end up with – plus a couple of strong & likable female characters along with a strong male lead plus Wakamoto Norio voicing Isshin (he had quite a few lines too) were what made this a treat to watch. It did take a little getting used to the animation style though; I initially didn’t think it looked that great but came to appreciate it more as the episode went on. And there was some apparent censoring where they tried to cover up any panty-shots, but it was so brief that I didn’t think it was a big deal. Regardless, the first episode did its job in getting me interested in the series, and I’ll definitely be watching at least a couple more episodes to see what direction it goes.

Out of the three new shows i got home to, being this, Bakemonogatari and Kanamemo, i probably enjoyed this most. Though to be honest i enojoyed all three of them. Thanks for uploading all three.

crasher was right too, you gotta love Wakamoto Norio (Isshin). Coolest voice in anime. I first heard him in HnG and then Tayutama. Now I can’t wait for the cell saga in DB Kai just to see if he’s coming back for his old role.

Oh god… I watched it because Boku said it was good… only now does it occur to me that I had forgotten that he likes Saki… I need to stop listening to people on the internet, especially those with terrible taste in animu.

Well, I gave what people are apparently saying is the best harem show this season a chance. Guess I’ll see if somebody has made a watchable harem next season… The genre has to get one good show eventually, right?

I’d say give it one more episode before dropping though. You can’t always tell after just one…

Edit: Saki is awesome. You’ve got girl with huge tits, taco-eating loli, glasses girl, and then the sweet and innocent Saki herself. What’s not to like (besides the plot, of course)?

I threw that in there just for you Booya because I knew that was the main difference in our tastes in animu. Even without an engaging plotline, I can still get by with enough fanservice/ecchi to continue watching the show. I suppose that’s why I’m still just a newfag when it comes to animu.

This isn’t too bad actually. Has some potential…

I agree with Boku, Saki is good, its pretty entertaining, though i stil understand noting about mahjong, but its more complex than a anime of this could ever teach. Only thing im not happy about is it seems this tournement will last pretty much til the end of the series, and its only the qualifiers.

Hey, the badassery part at the beginning was pretty cool. I enjoyed that a bit. Then the generic shitty harem started.

It was a gd 1st ep… The harem wasn’t overdone, dats gd to c… Hope it turns out to be a gd series…

Well the dude is a target so I think the harem thing will likely take a back seat to that ongoing power struggle with whoever is offing all the heirs to the family fortune.

Much as it pains me to say… I did not notice the presence of censors…. at all until I saw that 1 pic where the censor was. I was so engross with the way they portrayed the situation that I actually fail to notice it….
