Ahodomo, half an hour earlier than Horrible Subs: What’s impressive is that Horrible only “acquires” their subs (cough, cough), but Ahodomo, unless there has been an unannounced change, creates their own translations and subs (since episode 2, when they were starting). And they do it without even the transport stream, meaning without the help of Japanese closed captioning. And they still beat Horrible by a half hour.

They need to release this show in the US as soon as they finish all the episodes. English dub won’t be as good though… who else could match Yukko’s expressions??? But i just have to have a Nichijou blu ray collectors box on my shelf!

Doki does the best job making sense of the main gag this week. It concerns the Mai-chan and Yukko relationship, and opens and closes the episode. The other translations left me confused and unsatisfied on this.
