Funny how in the beginning of the series there was only a few hundred seeders/leechers and now they’re in the thousands :o
Increasing popularity ?

Damn you Phuzy… i’m condemned to downloading this series every week :)
Interesting storyline though… at least it seems to be better thought-out than most of the new/ongoing anime recently.

That’s a blog post I did on it. Hardly represents the potential this series has. Episode 8 is definitely a highlight of the series. If you’re going to watch this, keep watching until episode 8 then decide if you like it.
I don’t work on PB7 anymore. I’m currently blogging at THAT Animeblog if you guys were wondering.
P.S. funky ahahaha, but you like it…I know you do….I like it a lot….

Does anyone know where I can download the avi version of this episode? I have bad experiences with mkv formatted anime…
August 28th, 2008 at 10:12 pm
You can’t, unless you encode your avi yourself. You’ll have to wait for ainex to release their avi version.

Right after watching this, I have to say this is the best of the new anime i have seen recently… despite the story currently having some holes and unanswered questions… hopefully these will be resolved eventually, and soon.
Maybe i’m getting old… but despite it being an anime dealing with ayakashi (ghosts), it leaves a pleasant and peaceful feeling when it ends. The ending song is simply beautiful, uniquely animated, and blends perfectly with the last minute of each episode’s conclusion.
Here is something for all the NY fans – the official and complete soundtrack of Natsume Yuujinchou ;-)

Enjoy!

@funky
Thanks for the OP!!! I’m such a music fan.
For those who like Natsume Yuujin-chou, I suggest the series, Mushishi. Very similar style of storytelling which you will love. Mushishi is one of my favourites.
