I like how they did the episode with the fightscenes, but it lacked “Umph” if you get my drift but still a good episode nontheless, Hopefully the hour special wont be filled with garbage talk like most are and just get straight into ACTION!

Wow, that’s…disappointing, DB, dattebayo, that stupid meaningless word that NARUTO says…the show they were set out to sub…and they’re ending it?! On January 15, a little part of my soul will break off, dry up, whither, scream in pain, then die. (And if it turns out to be a troll, it’ll come back to life).

the only thing im worried about is if the videos will be downloadable. i hate watching anime on my pc. i always stream it to my 360.

Seriously, are you guys reading the story? This is great news, it means the industry is finally adapting to the internet, now at least they’ll get some advertisement money instead of no money from fansubs. I suggested a subscription based torrent tracker elsewhere, and still think it’s a great idea. I’m happy the industry is evolving, sure it won’t be terribly high quality since it’s streaming, but one step at a time.

yeah way to go crunchyroll.but the streaming quality gonna hurt my eyes anyway its good they gonna sub this and other shows.

It’s about time the industry evolved to meet the needs of it’s fans. I believe it has taken long enough. Groups like DB, while greatly appreciated and loved, should not have needed to exist in the first place if the industry knew what it was doing.

Over a year ago fans spoke when they began subbing anime and sharing it within hours of it’s original release. Instead of answering to the request of the fans, the industry simply ignored them and continued doing things the way it had always done. In some cases even silencing fan-subbing groups with cease and desist notices.

If what was said in this report is true, then this is the first step in the right direction the industry is taking. Not to mention Bounen No Xamd. However the problem there is the series’ release as PS3 exclusive content. Which tells us fans if you don’t have $400 to fork out for a PS3 then you can’t watch this series. Which I think was a bad move by Sony for thumbing their nose at Xamd fans all over the United States. This situation has left us fans with no other choice than to upload Xamd across the Internet for the rest of us to enjoy. So, how does Sony respond to this situation? By having their legal team issue cease and desist letters to the groups releasing the series. One step backward for the industry who still won’t completely listen to the people that support it.

DB has the rights to do what ever they want. Just because a few declare it as an insult proves that they are just leeching off of them, instead of investing their time in legit copies of Naruto Shippuuden, VIZ Fansubs will be streaming their subs on Naruto.com from what I read. Also know that Dattebayo is notorious for Trolling people. So until it’s 100% dropped, don’t believe it.

I’m a huge fan of Naruto and I don’t mind going to another source to get my fix. But unlike most people, I know how to convert most vids to AVI and make them workable on most DVD Players so I have nothing to worry about :)

P.S: no I will not tell anyone how to do it. I figured it out on my own…. use google to start yourselves out :P

the quality for Ep 85 is SOooooooooo bad. i didnt even want to watch after the intro. What happen ?!
