As a side note, there’s 2 places with the line “~Thanks for watching on Crunchyroll.com~” in this week’s sub which is slightly annoying.

First episode in ages that really felt sad… I didnt feel much when jiraya died. In Naruto (before shippuuden) there were so many sad moments and that’s what made it stand out for me.

this episode reminds me of perfect cell killed android 16 in front of Gohan, then Gohan’s anger exploded, pretty epic actually in a similar way.

Most action-based animes nowadays get their ideas from dbz, it was the pinnacle of anime in its time.

NOTE: to remove the “Thanks for watching on crunchyroll” crap! extract the .ass(subs)file from the mkv video and then edit the file in notepad and recombine! for no more of that rather large irritation from crunchyroll! :) enjoy irritaion free!

also i dont understand why the subbers/rippers didnt just remove it themselves before the posting of this episode!! hopefully next time they will just do it themselves! cheers

Yeah, I love this sort of epic battle when the hero’s anger exploded because of deep sadness, and become more powerful. It never bored me to see anime like this eventhough they are pretty much copy-cat from each others. I think Bleach 271 is pretty similar also, and there should be other similar epic battles in the previous episodes, forgot which though.
And if I remember correctly Breath of Fire 3 or 4 also has an epic battle against boss which cannot be damaged by party, then the Hero turn into Dragon and beat it, but then he was still kinda in berserk mode until Windia calmed him down.
Persona 3 last boss, when the hero got hit for 9999 damage and still alive.

DBZ is a great anime !!! naruto & DBZ are my best animes in the anime world !!!

Is it just me or has any one else got the problem with watching the RapidShare version?

Well, that was probably one of the best Naruto episodes in a while. They actually conveyed her feelings pretty well and I don’t know if it was just me, but the animation seemed 50x better than the previous episodes. It felt a lot more fluid and flashy then normal.

Isnt DB Kai a remake of DBZ series? Sorry I havent even watch one becoze I thought it was just a remake.

Same story but better sound and picture. Only difference is that they’ve removed ALOT of fillers and they don’t stand for 5 episodes just to charge one attack.

Finally some good animation, it tooked for cute hinata for the animators to do a good work; excellent ep and next will b epic!!!! …hopefully >_>
