ok first, if u read the manga u will know they are way ahead of the anime, wayyy ahead. (spoiler alert)
there the fight with danzo and then kisamie(if thats his name) vs killer bee. If you want an anime with hardly any filler in it watch one piece.

@Moyo, Nearly where the Manga is? We are talking over 70 Chapters ahead, not exactly close.

IF the creaters of the anime knew how to set the pace better they could make it so that it never catches up to the Manga, but they don’t, sometimes catching up with the Manga three chapters at a time.

One piece is a good example of pacing where even though it’s only 30 weeks ahead they don’t catch up at all. I understand the One Piece has more talking panels than Naruto does but they shouldn’t catch up so quickly.

I think the Naruto Anime creators like making fillers too much.

Why is there a manga spoiler in here?

Sure, he had the decency to type “spoiler alert” so I wouldn’t read it, but there shouldn’t be any manga talk in the anime post.

You’re right, it’ll be a while before the anime catches up with the manga. What you’re not right about though is that One Piece has a lot of fillers. For instance the 10 movies…

@Naughty Shrink, One Piece movies do not count as fillers since the episodes are still being released every week. The movie comes out at an unrelated time so it doesn’t really interfere with the weekly anime release. That’s like saying the past 6 Naruto movies are fillers. So One Piece fillers (generally 2-3 episodes) are definitely shorter than Naruto fillers (which can span a whole arc).

While Naughty is wrong, you’re also wrong saiyan. Naughty is talking about the fillers that happened right before this arc. There were a few episodes of One Piece that were related to the movie.

@AbsalomAbsalom, you kind of proved my point yourself, you said a few episodes lol. Yeah your right, their were a few episodes that released to give background info about the movie in One Piece, but it’s shorter than any filler Naruto has had. Besides what really happened in this episode? We found out Naruto passed down a jutsu to a little genin and later he had an “Ah Hah!!” moment. It’s as if they are trying to drag out this arc as long as they can.

Saiyan, you were completely wrong: “One Piece movies don’t count as fillers.” No one said anything about the movies.

I could say the same thing about One Piece. Luffy was in Imple Down forever. And all the crap with Buggy and Mr. 3 was simply to stall for time.

well a simple answer that if you donot like fillers donot watch it or if you donot like naruto and comparing it with other anime then it means that you have not interest in this anime !!! so it is beter to not watch this anime and wasting the time !!! those who love naruto anime will also love the fillers !!!
