@ Titens: Because 480p is SD quality and 720p is true HD quality. A lot of people rather have their media in good viewing, not eye cancer bull shit. Waiting for Taka’s 720p as always. Gotta watch that on my PS3.

I agree, 1080p is the best. When i download and watch shows if it is not in 720p or 1080i/p then i dont watch it, same with anime, for now on if it is not at least 720p i will wait for the higher quality release. Huge different getting the HD, especially when i want to play it on my 73″ HD tv :D

depends on you and what you prefer. If you gona watch is on a 17″ lcd probally wont matter, but on my 24″ lcd on my computer running in 1920X1200 i see a big difference between 480 and 720, so its just up to you.

I’m guessin Taka is puttin the ep up on their site since I couldn’t access it either. Both 1080p and 720p are considered Hd, but 1080p is the highest… for now. What’s gonne be next, 1260p? Tech on this shit always gets better sooner or later, which is why 240hz recently came out along with LED HDTVs

MoJo-X, what you have to understand is that yes HD is better, but for the most part it only shows on bigget screens, and the bigger the screen the more lines in needs to fill it, thus 1080p looks way better on a 73″ verses a 32″ or 42″ for that matter. So anything higher than 1080p would be worthless on small screens.

Even if you have a small screen 720p or 1080p is going to look better than 480p which I was implaying, in case you didn’t comprehend what I was getting at. And another thing your not gonna see LCD or LED (which display the best pictures) hdtv’s in a size bigger than 65″. At least not for another 5-10 years.

For a time the DBfags divided themselves between Taka and Horriblesubs(It sounds impossible, but remember to factor in the average intelligence of a person who watches Naruto), but since they’re gone, all you’ve got now is Taka or a bunch of shitty LQ (Worse than DB, which is impressive) releases.

I’m a Narutard, but I have no love for Shippuuuden. ‘Part 2′ of the manga is fine, but everything about Shippuuden compared to the initial series is a joke. The animation, the music, the pacing, bleh.

I still watch it for some reason though, because I can’t stop myself from wanting to look forward to how they may possibly go above and beyond on some of the really epic fights…which hasn’t happened yet, but whatever.

yes you are correct, we probally wont see LCD tvs like that which is why dlp are the next best thing if you wat screen size, after movie theaters and such use that technology, and no they are not super thin but compared to projection tv’s a lot thinner.
and what i ment earlier is if u take a bluray movie and play it on say a 32″ you will see a small difference from dvd to bluray, but if you look at say 73″ its a HUGE difference,,,,we cant even watch SD stuff on it because it looks so bad.
In 10 years from now lcd may not be big anyways if OLED takes off being so thin and energy efficient.

FlamingDogs: yes I do believe the quality is better than what it used to be. Maybe not as good as compared to other Hi-def crap (like Blu-Rays), but again it’s a whole lot better than what Part 1 was offered in. I’m not a real quality whore, so If its 720p then its good enough for me.

sp90378: I never brought up Blu-rays at all. Let me explain my reasoning in my first comment. I was basically saying that 720p is a clear winner vs. 480p. Even if you don’t have a monster sized screen 720p will still look clearer than 480p on a smaller screen. I’ll correct myself: 720p is considered HD, but border line while 1080 is the highest right now.
And yes the manga is a whole lot better than the animated series; if u hate Shippuuden so much then why are you watching it? I read the manga and I have to say it’s only gonna get better, but that’s my “opinion”.

MoJo-X: I think you misunderstood me… I meant that I thought the animators for Naruto Shippuuden did a heroic job on Kakashi Gaiden compared to their standard crap animation.

Kakashi Gaiden was definitely above par of what they have been putting out in Shippuuden lately. Shippuuden started off strong, and somewhere it lost it’s magic.

What I personally think it is is the writers have lost their enthusiasm for this anime. The original Naruto series was very theme based. “fight for your dreams” or something along those lines. Shippuuden doesn’t really seem to have it as much, or as strongly. So it feels less focused.

I still enjoy the series, at least when it’s not pointless filler anyway, I just think it’s lost it’s magic. My two cents.

Most fansub groups can’t run to a regular schedule, and Taka is no exception. When everyone is there and available, they are quite fast … but obviously something is wrong this time.

Just to give you guys a heads up. Taka said that TV Tokyo had some kind of broadcasting error which made it impossible to cap (as well as with DragonBal Kai). So their not gonna be releasing it anytime soon, unless they can get another rip. GO read the news on their site. Guess I’ll just settle with this one then. Peace.

Bleach??? What’s wrong with Bleach?? When they’re not in filler mode they match the manga exactly (with the exception of extreme gore). When they do go into filler mode they’re not anywhere near as bad as Naruto’s filler. The filler that’s occurring currently in Bleach actually doesn’t look that bad either. Anyways, do call the Bleach anime bad you have to dislike the manga to a certain extant.

man Taka is taking their sweet time. not like im in a rush to see Naruto tho. and we all know how Booya feels about the show, but i disagree with labeling folks “idiots” because they watch a certain show. i know it was a joke but we all have differant tastes and im sure most of the people watching the show know it sucks. at least at the moment. we just keep watching hoping it will get back to being a decent show. im sure everyone has a show they kept watching way after it started to suck. Rarouni Kenshin is a good example of a show that started off great and took a complete nose dive towards the end. and i watched every episode. sigh. sob. lol

Hey you guys, this is what Taka said regarding the episode:

Naruto 121 had a broadcasting error. This error made it impossible to cap the show, and of course, with our luck, we’re unable to release it unless we have a cap from a different airing, or if we wait for someone to release a rip of the airing later in the week. Obviously, when it comes to transport streams and raws, Taka is fucking cursed. Sorry, guys. Next week will hopefully have no issues. Go blame TV Tokyo.
Just to be perfectly clear here, this does not mean we are dropping Naruto or any of our other projects. We will get 121 out as soon as we are able to find a decent raw.

So all we need to do is wait.
