i know this is of topic but comparing animation quality between one piece and bleach with naruto is by far, like comparing black and white, as one piece i think is not skimping down on animation quality, it’s a glossy HD eye candy really^^

Some could argue that the gray colour is a more accurate portrayal of what occurs in real life. For example, take a bunch of bright markers into a dimly lit room, better yet, take it into a dimly lit room with an orange bulb and you’ll notice that your ability to differentiate between the colours of similar wavelengths will decrease drastically. In the dark, colours are actually seen in a gray-ish tint but our minds know that a colour must be associated with them so we perceive them with some colour, although faint, still present. The amount of this perception adjusted colouring varies from person to person so although you may know that your holding a yellow marker in the dimly lit room, someone else who just walked into your freakish experiment might think of it as green.

In any case, I agree with your argument that the quality has dropped to near craptacular quality XD

What has happened to Shippuuden? You can’t even compare the current animation quality to the first (double special) episode that aired. It looks horrible, as if they’ve been cutting frames out to cut production costs… Isn’t Naruto still aired on prime-time in Japan? Sad… Even the coloring and lighting seem horrible…

How can Karin’s hair change color just because it’s dark? It should have been a darker shade not a completely different color (dull gray/brown).

Naruto has much worse animation than Bleach and One Piece. Shame.
