I watched the raw macross frontier after dling it…I could only understand about one fourth of it…I need the subs….argh…but I ruined it for myself!!! AHHHH oh well, now I know…

I know this AnimeTake doesn’t really post movies but I just have to do this…
My most recently watched anime movie is “Giniro no Kami no Agito”, or “Spirits of the past” from GONZO. The captivating animation along with the song “Chouwa oto ~with reflection~” by KOKIA at the beginning of the movie only serves to propel the movie to a higher level of intrigue. The background scenery is expected from GONZO; well drawn and detailed beyond belief. I don’t want to spoil any part of the movie so I’ll just leave the following phuzy-ratings:
Story: 8/10
Animation: 9/10
Character: 7/10
Overall: 8.5/10
A good movie to relax with on a lazy summer day! Their original soundtrack is a must! Torrents should be available around. Nipponsei does a great job of torrenting OSTs like this. If I had more time and a better bandwidth I would upload DDLs. P.S. The forest dragons are awesome!!! This series has been subbed by ureshii thanks for their hard work!
Next up is “Sword of the Stranger” from BONES. The quick action scenes at the beginning just give a taste for the more bloodshed later on in the movie. A quick to grasp storyline leaves this movie mostly for its action scenes but definitely a good watch for when you want to pump some adrenaline. The flowing action is awe inspiring and so I leave this movie with the following phuzy-ratings:
Story: 7/10
Animation: 9/10
Character: 7/10
Overall: 8/10
A decent story but watch it for the action (and a lot of blood). Who knew there were so many ways to chop and kill people? I haven’t gotten around to hearing the OST, in fact, I’m not even sure if there is one but when I do I’ll give you and update!
