Ah, its been a long time since I’ve seen Portuguese written. So I guess the location of the show was also a bit off lol. Yeah the thing with the name is the same in Spanish.

Like Mebrelith as said, it’s portuguese not spanish, wich are very similar so i understand the confusion. Most portuguese speakers understand spanish and vice versa, so much that you won’t get subtitles if a spanish person talks in a portuguese TV program.

Anyway you are not totally wrong, there are quite a few errors … but they got most of it right.

If you care about “trivia” … They talk about Pará, so it seems the action is placed in the northern Brazil. Michiko’s last name is Malandro, wich is funny cause loosely translated from portuguese can mean “naughty” :P

They got the cats name wrong, it’s not Blanco but Branco as in White – and they say it in the anime – but Blanco also means white in spanish, but since they use portuguese Branco is the correct form.

I went to the official site, but i couldn’t find Hatchin’s real name anywhere, they said it was Hana but i don’t know if that’s really how they officially use it or it eas how BSS translated, cause in portuguese form is Ana, without the H.
