Must say that i’m surprised, i though ShingoxAiri or ShingxSana in the beggining of the series but certainly not ShingoxMiu and i must say that the moment Sana cried a part of me died too, wasn’t been so comoved in a cryin scene since Ushio from Clannad After Story ;(…that really surprised me.

Well, can’t say I didn’t see this coming. Like Yuzuru said in his post , I thought the timing on Shingo’s confession was really odd, along with Sakuno and Ange basically taking a backseat to what (Sakuno at least) knew would go down. Airi played her supportive role well, so I’ll give them props on that. From a purely personal standpoint I’m not really fond of Miu and thus this route, but I’ll still enjoy the show. Was cheering on Sana since a Sakuno route was ignored and Airi was on the sidelines.

i really dont get why everyone wanted sana to win .i mean she treated him like a disease.dog this and dog that it was so bad that i could not stand her.she gave the word
tsundere a bad name.i thought airi should of won.she was the first girl he saw and got involve with.but she played it cool and decided to watch form afar.well sempai was my second choice so i dont mind too much she treated him with kindness from the beginning oh i still wanted airi to win, just another shuffle ending.asa came out of nowhere and took the guy.so my suggestion if it has and english version play the game and pick your girl thats the only why you will feel better.i did that for shuffle and picked sia .the story was a whole lot more better than asa’s i dont want to use my powers crap

I don’t get why people are so fucking obsessed with anime where it is 1 guy and 5 chicks all like him shit. I mean c’mon, anime is to enjoy but this is fucking ridiculous. When something so unrealistic occurs in something that is based around “real life” in many ways it just ruins it for me. Like Chihayafuru or Kimi to Boku are prime examples of this personally.

Well, I havn’t watched this beyond the first ep, not really being a fan of generic harems, but I heard there was a heartbroken tsundere in this ep so I checked it out.

I did read this while downloading the episode, at that moment I was like “can’t be so bad, can it?”. After watching it, well.. yes, it was REALLY BAD

Yeah, I was hoping for the Airi route, first girl to appear, best development, goddammit..

Wouldn’t of had a problem if he picked Sana, but Miu was the best choice. Airi? No…. I doubt anyone was expecting Airi to get picked.

Don’t know what they’re going to do with the other 3 episodes. From the looks of it Sana’s gone into denial, and pretends that scene never happened. Airi is in her own little world, she bathed with him in a half a meter long bathtub, and feels no remorse for letting him slip out of her grasp, Miu felt harassed when he grabbed her, and Sana crying at the end was slightly emotional, not even close to where it should’ve been.

Angie is still the cutest, I honestly would have rooted for her if she wasn’t a maid.

Well Ben-to is next this sunday and that preview from last week got me fired up.

So like,does any1 know EXACTLY how many eps are left ? 2 or 3?

Anime is usually 13,26,24, it rarely strays from those numbers, unless it’s a never ending series with 98% filler episodes. I don’t think I need to name any.

Mashiro will probably end at the 13th. So basically 3 more episodes to go but the plot is over anyhow.

Not exactly 13, there are some animes that ends with 11 or 12 episodes (Usagi Drop and Dantalian no Shoka, for example). And after watching this episode 10 of Mashiro-iro I highly doubt they will end it with 13 episodes (unless they make something like routes with the others heroines, which I also find hard to happen)

It will have 12 episodes, it has already been confirmed. So only 2 more to go. This one might get an ova sometime later though, since most due.

I went ahead and read your post in episode 9 just for the hell of it as you suggested (again O_o), and there’s nothing there I already didn’t know before about these types of shows.

Some are “watchable” and some are badly adapted which is basically it, there is no inbetween. Even Clannad which is a show that many harp as the “perfect” adaptation of a visual novel and even though I enjoyed it myself, it still is far from perfect since there were more than one route to take and the cannon ending in the anime (at least) went with the obvious choice, which was only 1, alienating fans of the other heroines and leaving them high and dry (OVA’s don’t count. They’re good “service for the fans” but they don’t count as cannon)

That was mainly what my previous comment on this episode was about, it was simply a comment on what direction the writers chose to take based on the visual novel: the obvious choice.

Hell the majority of my comments earlier refrenced Chapelle and Metal Gear Solid 3 for christ sakes. That alone should’ve told you the majority of my comment wasn’t meant to be taken seriously… but alas, just like every post on here, you take them far too seriously than it should, which is kinda what I’m doing now, taking yours more seriously than I probably should O_o

But out of respect of someone who’s obviously a fan of anime in general and obviously speaks with a high level of passion about the shows you watch although with a bit of an attitude sometimes… I put aside my urge to not reply and came out and put one here anyway.

Am I the only one that was voting Angie x Shingo? Lol, Seriously. I was hoping come big turnabout of events would put her back in the driver seat. Very early confession though, what’s the rest of the show going to be now?!

What was the point in the first few episodes where he seemed to build up a relationship with Airi if they decided to make him end up with Miu. The visual novel needs translating so all these people (including me) can see the ending of the girl they think he should have ended up with.
