Some of the voice actors are good, but the hero and the princess are completely sterile. They fucked up the tone, so it flows more like care free spice and wolf with pointless ecchi garbage.

I guess it’ll be another wasted manga-to-anime, but then again that’s all anime has been lately? Disappointing, but not unexpected.

now… if only it had the char design/ graphics as the novel…

Having just finished watching the first episode, I can conclude that this anime definitely seems interesting! The two main characters are also very likable and slightly different from your average character (though that is somewhat to be expected when NOT dealing with a school-setting anime).

I thinks it’s worth giving a try for most people.

That was a pretty fudging amazing first episode.

Haven’t watched it yet, but something tells me I will love this show. Firstly because we already have haters, similar to Horizon, coincidentally Fukuyama Jun as Protagonist (Horizon again). Secondly, morals, politics, economics, my field of interest and others select field of distaste. Again the themes are similar to Horizon, except this appears to be fantasy based while the other was Sci-Fi.

Japan people. Anime can be anything Japan don’t ban stuff since they make it. This anime will never be dub.

@ Runeanimer Japan has more freedom in these areas than other countries such as the US that’s what makes anime interesting in that to an extent they are willing to look deeper into things not scratch the surface :) on taboo

Hmm?? I see a few negative feedbacks around but oh well everyone have their own taste… As for me this is lovely. The first episodes really interest me. And of course the unpredictable dakimakura made me go “LOL!”. The characters are just sooo lovable. Well to put it in my term “Personality, Boobs and lolis” XD. Well anyway This show seems to be fun so pls watch it if you are interested XD

ya it does remind me a little of spice wolf.
Looks like it could have a well developed plot, a little bit of monster girl quest, mixed with spice wolf, mixed with some of the mentality from fate-zero (Kiritsugu).

I needed to watch it twice to understand her plan. But it seems she wan’t to give up, and travel with the hero as a diplomat. I think (not really clear)

Finished watching the first episode, does remind me of Spice and Wolf in terms of characters but the catch line sooo reminds me of Horizon.

Not to mention both are about breaking out of the continual cycle forced on by politics.

Anyway, I am definitely looking forward to this series. I just hope the rest of the episodes are just as smart or better. But truth be told, they may have wasted the best lines at the start, but oh well.

If you want to watch an anime with ecchie in it I would highly recommend Seikon no Qwaser.
