The Kyou no Go no Ni manga was originally written like that. In fact, from what I’ve read on Wikipedia, The manga is quite a bit more perverse.

On another note, I couldn’t help but laugh my ass off at the underwear competition at the end and be impressed at that one kid’s skills that blew away the competition.

Yeah, I read the manga but it is based on the OVA not the TV series. Anyway I laughed at this series as well.
