1 gig is plenty if you are using XP. Also, no, it’s more to do with your processor. Your processor would definitely be the problem if you have one. The video card doesn’t usually handle… video. Which now that I think about it is pretty retarded.

Mind you, if you are using mpc-hc, you can get it to handle some H.264 video.

well i’ve got 1.25 gigs of ram i dont think thats enough for the 1080 and 720.
