Nuke-bandaiatv isn’t out yet…but i want it to be…cause that’s the group im using. AoShen is a good sub group so if there wasn’t Nuke, I’d probably follow them.

I’ll wait for nuke…..at least for a little while.

Have nothing against the group, i just started with Nuke, so intend to stick with them. I show the same loyalty to any group. I watched Birdy from Aoshen for the first season, and am continuing with Aoshen due to that.

I like how AoT’s 366MB encode looks far better than Nuke’s 440MB piece of crap. AoShen’s is almost as good, but I don’t know who’s idea it was to put that “presented by” thing at the beginning.

Taken into consideration, guess i will wait a few days and see where i stand then. At the moment i have plenty to watch anyway, even if i do enjoy this i can wait and see what happens as far as releases go.

The main thing is, the encoder removed some ugly noise that was hogging up the bitrate. Some people prefer noise though =/

Nuke is noisy, AoT is cleaner. I like the sharp lines, some people like the noise like booya said. But if you ask me, clearer = better. There are the two images to compare.

Clearer is better, but it feels like there’s something wrong with his face in the screenshot of AoT’s version, could you give another screenshot?

There’s another AoT. Don’t forget. AoT has better quality with a lower file size. Sign of a good encoder right there.

Maybe the next time i will try to leave a comment first because at the beginning there were only torrent download and i had had to wait for a long time before direct downloads appeared!

just wondering, is there a site that has a collection of subtitle files?

Well, if you go to the sub groups and ask for their srt’s you can usually mux them into another raw yourself and hope that the timing isnt off by much. There might be a site with the .srt or .ass but i dont know of any. AoShen subs are good but their encodes are pretty bad.

:p maybe u guys should start demuxing those files and uploading it.

Nuke for me, for a couple reasons.

1.) I prefer sub quality over most other things, and Nuke impressed me with the attention to grammar. I’ve heard not-so-good things about AoShen so I’m staying away.

2.) I don’t use HD so all that junk doesn’t worry me. I’ve seen worse when it comes to video quality so my standards aren’t super high.

what is with the size?! totally BIG! and what is with the darksoul – akikan thing? this really will take some time….I will go with AoT first, if it’s ok, then I’ll stick to it..if u dun try, u wouldn’t know, right?

I honestly don’t see much of a difference between the Nuke encode and the AoT one.

Call me blind, but they look pretty much the same to me. Even after looking closely.

Well, even if they did look the same(they don’t), it’s still obvious which is better.

Nuke version has more blocks and noise. It’s also over-cropped :/

Maybe my eyes are going worse, but although i can see a difference im unsure which is worse. I wouldnt call either bad compared what it can be like, and my only reason for considering anything other than Nuke, is for how easy it will be to get if you stop uploading it here.

I tend to ask this sort of thing alot more than i should, but SS Kemono no Souja Erin 2 is out, was the first episode put up as one off for Phuzy or are the SS versions always going to be added.

I know its not really the right topic to ask, but saves me making another post and it only really needs booya or someone to answer.

I already have them uploaded and was currently adding SS-Eclipse to CLANNAIDS.

Also, my eyes are like a fucking hawk’s when it comes to video. It’s fine if you don’t see it. Of course again, even if they look the same to you, AoT has a smaller file size, meaning it’s just plain better.

If i was to watch all the versions i would probably notice the difference more, but from screen shots it can be a little hard to tell which is the better version.

Answer 1, the nuke and AoT thing was comparing the quality difference between the two releases as there was a discussion as to whether or not people should wait for Nuke or go with one of the other releases.
Answer 2, i torrented the Nuke release as i expect the Nuke release wont be added here, since AoT seemed to be favoured.
Just watched it, guy is stil annoying, kuro is stil cute, and looks like 5 could be interesting, all in all a decent episode.
