Code Geass was fun. It was entertaining. It was suspenseful. It was not good.

imo code geass had a more entertaining setting than death note which helped in the drama and action sequences. i mean common brittania? that alone made the series interesting. while death note had… shinigami? that route has been ran through a few times, so it wasnt as fresh, but the story was also good none the less.

You cant compare Code Geass with Death Note, obviously Death Note win and for a lot. They are both thinked as the bad guy, they too are supposed to be very intelligent and they too are popular with girls, but Death Note show you how it would happend as in the time as we are, he is a normal student (except for the intelligence) and he don’t care about anybody except himself…
Without saying that Code Geass look for shounen and Death Note look for seinen…

What i look and what I think most people look for in an anime is how much it entertains you and appeals to you and makes u crave for the next episode.If plot twists are what gets the job done then i have got no problem with it.Code geass was what entertained me most this year and though i wouldnt call it the best ever it was the best show this year.

Funny, when I read ARTHURIUSS’ comment, I thought “Code Geass is the same crap as Death Note.”

Then I read ^your comment, and I thought, “Wow, that was creepy, I wonder how these guys can think that shows that base their entire plots off of plot twists are the best…”.
