Only other show apart from Minami-Ke worth watching so far this season.
January 10th, 2013 at 7:44 pm
Seems interesting, I’ll try it.
January 10th, 2013 at 8:06 pm
one of the best animes of this season!
January 10th, 2013 at 8:08 pm
@greenpon: That’s it before I am just not going to say anything but because you are always complaining in every new anime.
Check maoyuu and Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru or Maoyuu Maou Yuusha that two anime is quite better and the latter have a potential to be a gem.
It is weird if you are only saying that only minami-ke the only worthwhile anime this season
January 10th, 2013 at 8:11 pm
Oh sorry you already watched it and you think it is crap because it is not as good as the manga. lol
January 10th, 2013 at 8:24 pm
Ore no Kanojo is trash, plain and simple. It’s so cliched and predictable that it’s not even funny.
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha is a mockery to the manga (the good version out of the 3) and is just another echhi cop-out which discarded it’s vast potential in favour of bouncing boob moe. Do yourself a favour and read the manga instead of wasting your time on the anime: http://www.mangatraders.com/manga/series/7509
I prefer some an interesting and compelling story with emotional impact and charismatic charm from a show. Your 2 examples are distinctly lacking in these qualities.
January 10th, 2013 at 8:28 pm
Don’t get me wrong, there’s a time and place for moe and ecchi shows. It just so happens that this season is inundated with them, that or effeminate yaoi drivel. It’s a complete overload of the stuff, there’s only so much cookie-cutter reused stereotypical crap you can take in one season.
January 10th, 2013 at 8:35 pm
P.S. I apologise for being such a miserable killjoy.
January 10th, 2013 at 8:43 pm
Even though we seem to have very different interests in genres, I agree with you greenpeon.
Some anime with interesting stories would be pretty nice for a change, though.
January 10th, 2013 at 8:44 pm
First half is so grim and depressing, holy shit.
January 10th, 2013 at 9:02 pm
depressing what the hell are you talking about
I pull out a gun and start searching for bullets
10 minutes 37 sec
o it’s back to normal.
could be a very interesting show, just skip through the first half of the episode.
January 10th, 2013 at 9:04 pm
This should put a lovely twist on things. I just finished watching Kimi ni Todoke So im totally in the mood for another school love (comedy) story
January 10th, 2013 at 9:37 pm
@HD survivor, actually I liked the first half, it’s so depressing that it made the show way more interesting.
Good to know there are some decent animes in this moe/shoujo/effeminate crap season
January 10th, 2013 at 9:47 pm
The first half was a breath of fresh air from the rest of this season, it’s also character building and emotionally powerful. I don’t get why people would want to skip it.
January 10th, 2013 at 9:53 pm
People saying the first half is depressing are just stupid and too used to slice of life anime with no seriousity whatsoever. It’s not depressing, it’s a good background story that leads perfectly to the current situation we’re presented to.
At first I was reluctant about watching this because the art looked weird and bad (and I was kind of spot on on that part) but it seems to be a surprisingly promising series. I would definitely recommend people to try it out.
It’s better than it looks!
January 10th, 2013 at 10:03 pm
DL-ing this along with Maouyuusha, Tamako Market and Amnesia. From 9 series from last season to 4 now. I must find something else to do on my free time. ROFL
January 10th, 2013 at 10:04 pm
holy crap thanks guys!
January 10th, 2013 at 10:15 pm
I was going to skip this, but this talk of a dark background is pretty interesting. I’ll give it a go too, then.
January 10th, 2013 at 10:17 pm
Funny, sad and romance all at the same time. Reminds me of “Lovely Complex”. Definitely following this one. :)
January 10th, 2013 at 10:19 pm
its freaking good compared to the other crap out there
January 10th, 2013 at 10:20 pm
@greenpeon OreShura is pretty enjoyable. And how is the main plot predictable? It’s still only one fucking episode
And yes this season is bad, but it has some good shows and Spring is going to be awesome.
January 10th, 2013 at 10:50 pm
If this ends up anythign in same level as ToraDora was, I’ll really love this. :)
January 10th, 2013 at 10:56 pm
This Was actually really reaaally good!!
Finally a series that you can long for!
Really funny but also dark, atleast this first episode.
Cant wait for the comedy to start on the second episode :)
January 10th, 2013 at 11:08 pm
@greenpeon: Are you fucking psychic? no? then don’t go about deciding something is predictable from 24 minutes.
You can easily find those qualities if you, you know, actually payed attention rather than attacking it for qualities that just aren’t for you.
And when its clear its not, then you don’t have to post the same thing in every debut release.
Anyway, another great show. Very entertaining.
January 10th, 2013 at 11:11 pm
Is anyone else bordered by the interlacing. I just cant stand it.
January 10th, 2013 at 11:57 pm
@Kaikoenred & Kazziyan.
You SERIOUSLY can’t predict where it’s going?
The MC in Ore no Kanojo ends up eventually developing feelings of love for the transfer student, however initially he tries to maintain that it’s all a charade and chances are he’ll be too much of a pussy to fully act on them and commit. In the process he accumulates a couple of other stereotypical girls on the side who crave his beta cock for some unknown reason or another. Childhood friend as always loses, other girls lose, either transfer student wins or it’s an open ending with nothing resolved. Oh and MC will have a complete personality change by the end and realise some shit about humans not being able to live without love and enjoying your youth etc etc.
Welcome to every romance/harem anime ever. I didn’t even need my crystal ball.
Anyway back on topic, Kotoura-san has been the most enjoyable new show of the season so far.
January 11th, 2013 at 12:13 am
oh mind reading!… thats so interesting in anime world:D damn gonna pass i think this season is perfect to watch some old anime that i didnt have time for;D
January 11th, 2013 at 12:52 am
Well, everything else looked dismal, so I’ll give this a shot.
January 11th, 2013 at 1:08 am
THIS ONE IS A KEEPER!@
January 11th, 2013 at 3:15 am
WTF!!! The show tries it’s damndest to make you cry for the first ten minutes, and in many cases they succeeded and then 10m 13s does a complete 180 and I now have no idea if this is going to be a comedy or tear jerker or both.
Either way it’s the best new new (it’s not second or more season)show this Winter i’ve seen so far, not that that is saying much as this season sucks so far.
January 11th, 2013 at 3:37 am
seems like a lot of people mis understood my last comment. I’m not saying the first half was bad, In fact I thought it was really unique. God knows I couldn’t watch it because it made me cry. But that doesn’t make it bad by any means.
January 11th, 2013 at 3:44 am
i think i was just slapped in the face and then got a heartwarming hug.
January 11th, 2013 at 4:16 am
didn’t like how they draw the expressions and the reactions to every action… just doesn’t look realistic and some parts are too cheesy. I’ll watch 3 more episodes before deciding to drop it
January 11th, 2013 at 7:17 am
The moment she mindreads a perverted thought I’m dropping this.
January 11th, 2013 at 9:10 am
I started watching it after reading the school love comedy. The first half almost got me to drop it, but glad I managed to get to the half way point right before the opening song. I will follow this for a little longer.
January 11th, 2013 at 9:46 am
i will watch this, will give me a feel of how life is like with mind reading
January 11th, 2013 at 9:50 am
I hate how people pick and drop, while I IN THE OTHER HAND PICK AND KEEP AND NEVER EVER DROP(^ u ^)
January 11th, 2013 at 10:26 am
Wow, right in the feel
January 11th, 2013 at 11:43 am
@greenpon: I already read that manga from the first chp is translated I even read the other two. Which is in no way crap. To be honest this anime is even better than all of the manga so I have no Idea what are you talking about. Just to inform you that. No need to recommend that manga
January 11th, 2013 at 12:49 pm
It’s so much more than I expected :). I’m gonna keep this :x
January 11th, 2013 at 1:34 pm
This is…….. a….. Anime…. Where you’re going to Love/Hate!….. Fucking.. Epic!!!!!.
Keep it up!, Japan!. ^.-
January 11th, 2013 at 2:30 pm
super depressing fo 10 minute , cute art can be dangerous too wtf but after that is baack to normal – I think more fun and drama is expected in this serie
January 11th, 2013 at 4:13 pm
I f’ing hate the way you write, i feel like throwing up every time I see a comment made by you..
January 11th, 2013 at 4:13 pm
Best is obviously Maou Yuu this season (epic seiyuu that also did voice the MCs of Ookami to Koushinryou), but this is a really nice romantic comedy, potentially even better than Chuunibyou demo Koi ga shitai from last year. Definetly a must for those who give ashit about the moe-anime running atm :D
January 11th, 2013 at 7:19 pm
@Snigel Thank You! XD~. Exactly as planned!. Love making people like “you”.. “throw up!”. Make my days!.. even better!. :P~
Ans p.s You have alot of nothing… to say.. Keep it that way!. Faggot!.
January 12th, 2013 at 1:14 am
Looks like this one’s going to be my favorite this season. I hope it turns out as great as I’m expecting!
January 12th, 2013 at 3:45 am
really nice anime!! i couldn’t stop laughing! but crying in the first part :(
January 12th, 2013 at 9:48 am
so… she cant just stfu and respond normally ?
January 12th, 2013 at 12:13 pm
I almost didn’t bother with this one after reading the synopsis, but I’m so glad I gave it a shot. The first half really had me choking up badly. Really wanted to bitch-slap the hell out’ve her mum.
@matreko: Problem is, she dosn’t understand what everyone else considers “normal” to begin with, and by the time she works it out she just wants them to f… off.
January 12th, 2013 at 2:54 pm
Her apartment looks very similar to mine. I think I’m going to like this one.
January 13th, 2013 at 7:22 am
best anime of this season I love it!!!!
January 13th, 2013 at 3:53 pm
Looks like no actual group is going to pick this one up.
January 13th, 2013 at 7:16 pm
Fuck man… the picture and the description don’t do it any justice. This shit is so damn good.
tl;dr deconstruction of the whole “mind reader” aspect cliche used in anime, this ones worth sticking with.
January 14th, 2013 at 3:36 pm
Best show this year so far……and I usually hate these kind of shows…..
January 15th, 2013 at 8:25 am
THE EMOTIONS. ITS ONLY EPISODE 1 WTF?
January 16th, 2013 at 6:10 am
Even though it’s a 4koma, it’s a dark one. There’s plenty of drama to come in the next episode, PV be damned.
January 22nd, 2013 at 12:15 am
This anime has the two far ends of the anime spectrum, the really sad depressing side and the hilarious side. I’m loving this show!
February 20th, 2013 at 10:40 pm

it’s gonna be fun they said
