However, more or less just started translation and have just finished volume 1 (which seems to end with the first Larvae and mother incident that Layfon killed all himself).

And according to Wikipedia the original is a light novel series:

Then there exists the three/four different Manga adaptions. However, I don’t know if some of them are the sequel(s) to one of the others or if they are all completely different (at least the all have different authors).

Last sentence I didn’t mean Layfon but the other guy.
Did Layfon just let the heavens blade lay there? But in that case: Why would he let something so important just lay somewhere?

Btw.: I still don’t get who actually Saya is. I mean what kind of role does she play, except of being inside Leerin.

I know that but as he didn’t have any objections, it is like he gave it back. Actually, I am not surprised that if there will be another season it might be better for him to don’t have a heavens blade from the beginning but at least the Katana he got would have been nice.
Also: How did that guy actually get the heavens blade :) ?

This anime is leaving what seems to me like the vast majority of the plot open. I can’t imagine anything it ending like that…. What about the Ignasis? What chain of events did Saya just begin by choosing Layfon or whatever? …Unless they halted production indefinitely and this ‘final’ ep was intended to conclude things for now for some unforseen reason. It does all seem very rushed at the last bit, doesn’t it?
