It’s adapted from a series of light novels, and there is 12 volumes so far so if they wanted to make more episodes they have plenty of material.
Now, I don’t know much about the light novels but from what I gather from the anime the story is one big clusterfuck.
After 24 episodes I still don’t understand wtf is going on half the time…

ye just as i sayd they could make it more understandable with those 24 episodes and even get further

serious RAGE if there isnt another series as pretty much everything went unanswered. Very frustrating considering this was one of my favs this season

Worst song ever! I wish they used a different sound track. The only good part of the whole soundtrack was in episode one when the caped haven’s blade users rode the bikes.

I started this series really into it and gradually am getting tired of it..Like a worn out relation ship..lol..I am ready to get it over with now..Thanks for the uploads through-out ^_^

Ending feels kind of rushed, i do hope for another season because there are some things that needs to be explain…from the looks of it though, i doubt they’ll do it.
Overall, it was great series, enjoyable and really incomprehensible at times but really interesting

I hope there will be a second season. After all this was extremely open ending. Of course, it was an ending but has way more open parts than a normal Anime ending (and those are normally already pretty open) :)

I really liked this show (note: past tense) — but that had to be one of the worse endings ever. There were regular episodes that did better/more. It feels like it went back to where it started — with no answers, resolutions, or even hints. Were *24* episodes dedicated to him using a heaven’s blade??? Please … not sure I would even watch a second season I’m so disappointed.

It’s a pretty good anime =) action packed till the end… hope to see more of it in anime… cuz the manga’s different but I like it as well..

Well but actually all 2009 Spring Anime so far have been pretty short… Most don’t even reach the 15 episodes limit (that one got further).

Well yeah that is the point somehow. If they don’t do another season, this show is extremely open.

Also: Why the hell did he “get” his heavens blade back at the end and even “increased” its power (at least for him as he is more suited for Katana) when he combined it with the Katana he got and in the same episode he gave it away again. Now he doesn’t even have his new Katana because I don’t think he separated it again (if that is even possible anymore).

This anime is leaving what seems to me like the vast majority of the plot open. I can’t imagine anything it ending like that…. What about the Ignasis? What chain of events did Saya just begin by choosing Layfon or whatever? …Unless they halted production indefinitely and this ‘final’ ep was intended to conclude things for now for some unforseen reason. It does all seem very rushed at the last bit, doesn’t it?

Did Layfon just let the heavens blade lay there? But in that case: Why would he let something so important just lay somewhere?

Btw.: I still don’t get who actually Saya is. I mean what kind of role does she play, except of being inside Leerin.

However, more or less just started translation and have just finished volume 1 (which seems to end with the first Larvae and mother incident that Layfon killed all himself).

And according to Wikipedia the original is a light novel series:

Then there exists the three/four different Manga adaptions. However, I don’t know if some of them are the sequel(s) to one of the others or if they are all completely different (at least the all have different authors).
