Yep. Traditionally a black & white scene in almost any movie/show is meant to signify an event that happened in the past. The eye patch guy and little miss whats her face are likely some of the first Ki users as well as the dog/face things being some of the first pollution beasts.

The engrish part is what the world was like before BEFORE it became a barren waste land. Why can’t people seem to understand that?

this show deserves better quality. it always takes forever for a decent HD version of the eps to come out. i wish Taka was faster, they have good quality eps.
