Why do people want avi? to play on 360 or ps3?
I have never downloaded avi since HD anime started running.
Just asking.

maybe harddisk not enough like me T_T

Vacation Says:

You know, there is a “delete” button, not only on your keyboard, but on the right-click menu as well, so hard drive space shouldn’t really be a problem. There are also places where you can buy anime, as opposed to hard drives.

lemon5969 Says:

but for gaming?..
if i want watch all story must have to load and find the dvd it waste my time.. so just buy anime and i will copy to my harddrive, that why my harddrive full..with music anime games phot software and etc.

@Vacation
Delete button? What is this? I don’t think there such thing like delete in my computer. Anytime I try to delete an anime, I get error that said: “You can’t delete anime, buy a new HD”.
So I need to buy a new one. My question is, do I the only one that this thing happen to him?

modhesh Says:
December 2nd, 2009 at 12:54 pm

@Vacation, I keep animes. For future purposes and I’m not like you who watch HD animes then delete it at once after watching.(I assume that you’re that kind of person, based on your comment.)Anyway, I have my EHD and will buy another since 320gb is not enough for me.

@tempacoil, same here.

Dronnas Says:

@tempacoil
Yeah, I’m the same. I’ve got somewhere around 1 tera of anime just stored. Time to go buy a new hard drive at my local YAMADA denki.

@Vacation
it’s actually such a waste to download and delete ANIME once u watch em. Better give ur downloads to me, i can use it for better purpose.
If u r still doing that, come to my house, i hv nearly 2 tera anime stored up in my HD. jst knock on the door, i’ll let u in to watch anime, and afterwards u can walk out the door. =] Dont b shy.
@tempacoil
Agree. who would even attemp to do such a thing? to delete anime is just cruel >=[

Why do people get so pissed when others prefer AVI? Who the hell cares. What difference could it possibly make to you?

This episode was better than the last one but I still feel like they’re stalling a bit.

i have a new western digital 500gb that i bought half a year ago,it was at the same time i put together my desktop pc and i have a western digital my book 380 gb..iam only downloading hd/high quality shows..don’t care abot the file size..hard drives are not that much..i use 2 watch avi only for my XBOX MEDIA CENTER then i started collecting hd and converter it in a playable format for XBMC ,,but now everything is being watch from pc,,,so only hd for me…

crono Says:

I keep the awesome anime until they’re out on DVD. The “good” anime I keep until they’re complete, then decide if I’ll ever watch them again. If yes, I keep until DVDs come out. If not, they get deleted. Anything average or below, like the weekly shonen, gets deleted immediately after watching. So there’s hardly any anime on my HD.

Still, anything over ~350mb is retarded.

errr…. You do relise that you can play mkv’s on the xbox.. Well in a sort of a work around way;
TVersity + Enabling FFvideo to play the subs then using transcoding which will convert it to wmv(sigh) and stream it to your Xbox360. -More infor see the TVersity site-

If peopele use the fact they get avi just so they can watch it on the xbox then I guess you really need to find a better story.

I just wanna headbut the desk everytime someone says that.

rdc85 Says:

avi works better in old comp/ low end notebook, tried 720p in those will cause skip frame every couple sec

lisyaoran Says:
December 3rd, 2009 at 5:57 am

agree with rdc85, mine is 2002, so 720p, is IMPOSSIBLE, unless I like eye-cancer, that is…

I have 5 office computers at home all 2002-2004 32mb graphics cards bar one, 96mb gfx card (internal 32mb gfx x 3)
They seem to run the mkv’s perfectly fine.
None the less they all have fresh installations of XP, so they do not have the usual clutter of a normal computer. Nor the dust as I’ve cleaned them all.
Surely your computer in 2002 is better then an office workstation ?

L1v3_4n63L Says:
December 3rd, 2009 at 12:49 pm

Love <3
cant wait for the next one @_@

lisyaoran Says:
December 3rd, 2009 at 2:39 pm

mine mkv is ok, just 1280 and 720p can’t run, if mkv 168mb, it just ok like pandora hearts n kobato

~JK~ Says:
December 3rd, 2009 at 10:40 pm

The lounge room office computers can fun the blu ray encodes but another one that my roommate is exactly the same just a better graphics card that he has had for a year doesn’t like mkv’s (they are exactly the same in every other way bar those two differences)

Now the only difference is how fresh the OS install is and junk located on the HDD. So later on in the year I see the others start to low don in playing Mkv’s then I guess I will test to see if a nice new install will help.

If that is the case then it might help alot of people with playing Mkv’s.
