the fight between shichika and sabi will prolly get aired on another ep. I think they wanted to give his sister some face time this episode, which was interesting to see the development of a different character for once. I wasn’t disappointed but was surprised to say the least. Who knows? They might air that fight on 05.21 when ep 5 will be on.

I thought the episode was PURE WIN! I don’t understand all the disappointment. Sure it was different from the preview, but I thought the episode was gold! In my opinion, best episode yet!

Also, I wonder if the sister will try and steal the swords since she is now a sword master? Very interesting!

Best episode of the series by far. I really don’t understand how can people be dissapointed for not seing the fight with the random dude. Nanami is amazing, and her fights were incredible.

I was actually expecting/hoping the final 5 minutes was just part of Togame’s strategy to spread a rumour that they’d defeated Hakuhei Sabi and retrieved his sword, after all the talk earlier about information leaking.

But no, as it went on, it turns out he really did beat him and we’ve been trolled. However despite it all, as Titens said, this is the best episode so far (although I was rolling my eyes at the Insect trio when they first appeared).

Nanami = awesome. I was pretty surprised to find that Nanami’s voice actress also voiced Nagisa from Clannad, Mai from My-HiME and more recently, Selnia Flameheart from Ladies vs Butlers. I’d never would’ve guessed they were one and the same person.

FUCK YES! THIS IS THE BEST ANIME EVER! I loved this almost as much as Endless 8. Epic Trollin’ FTW!

From the description of the fight, sounded like Shichika was fighting Himura Kenshin. It’s funny how everyone on here completely missed the point, they didn’t show the fight because they wanted us to be put in Nanami’s shoes (she never struggles to do anything, because she’s overpowered) so our disappointment in not seeing the epic battle = Nanami’s POV. DUHHHHRRR

Not a troll at all, just possible foreshadowing. Not all things that take some logical thought are trolls.

Oh, I never read the light novel of this story. So according IF white fox follows the novel directly they will NOT show the fight.. I wonder why. They show it in a preview at the end of 3.. hah this show never ceases to surprise me.

In response to the supposed troll, who knows? it could very well be a troll, or not. You know how some companies (just generalizing here) like to pop out OVAs to “help fill the gaps”, so to speak. I can imagine either this fight between Sabi and Shichika ending up later on in the Animu or thrown in to an OVA or two. They already crapped a preview out showing the fight.. so I can only imagine they ALREADY have animated the entire fight and purposely pruned out the more important bits to create a preview. If I’m right on the assumption we’d be pleased to see that fight air somehow, sometime, which (un)fortunately is dictated by of course White Fox.
