If you all butthurt people look at the navigation bar. There’s a link that says “Recently updated posts,” click on it and it will show you all the posts that have been updated, most likely with links to AVI or higher quality versions ‘720p’ ‘1080p.’ Either do that or just go back to the post every now and then, we will post avi and higher quality once it is available. Asking for them will not make the links come any faster and all you will accomplish is annoy us.

Did you not read my post right above yours before you replied? I know that you commented before and have not done so in the past, so this was not directed at you. However, there are a bunch of people who do nothing but copy/pasta the same “avi plz” into every-single-damn-post for no good reason. They have already been reminded repeatedly not to do this before… people also need to get that there are NOT always avi re-encodes for every-single-series posted here…

In short, the point is that…
You do not need to ask us to post, WE KNOW, and we will fucking post it when it comes…

I agree with Tiggerz, asking for avi’s is like calling the admin’s here incompetent fucks. Which NONE of them are, or they wouldn’t be admin’s. It’s incredibly insulting.

The admin’s here take pride in being able to share anime with you all, for fucking free. They all work incredibly hard to make this the first site to have anime releases. There is not a serious admin here who does not have all of the major and even minor sub groups on either rss or irc. They fucking know when .avi’s are out and when they can be posted along with the .mkv’s and .mp4’s.

Some admin’s *cough* Booya *cough*, and even just plain members here go through the trouble of encoding .avi’s just to shut you people up. If you want .avi that badly then take the time to read the tutorials that are posted all over the forums here and convert them yourselves. There are plenty of people willing to give advice and help you troubleshoot any issues you have with doing so. In the process you might learn something about encoding videos, and in doing so feel more confident about yourself. Instead of just whining about your xbox not being able to play .mkv’s.

In short, there’s no excuse.

For all those who don’t know about the CCCP or something like that.. you should get it. There are all sorts of other codec packs out there available that WILL play .mkv files. I don’t know the big fuss over AVI files anyways. I never had a single problem with those codec packs whether they be kazaa lite codec packs or the communicty one.

not to annoy u or anything but sometimes posting (from time to time) the links for the codecs will not help everyone else but yourself too. You shouldn’t have to answer every single inquiry relating to AVIs.

Perhaps an “essential software” button is necessary, somewhere between (recently updated posts) and (FAQ). Listing CCCP along with other things like all to avi, and links to different tutorial, and troubleshooting posts in the forums. I’ll go post this in the suggestions forum as well.

If you’re getting it for free, don’t complain. If you’re paying for it, then by all means, complain all you want. Therefore, since no one really pays (does not include donations as that is not *paying*) for this site except the admins, they do not have any obligation to their readers unless they want to.
