Wasnt that good of a series to me.I watched it as filler and because it had good graphics.Only one episode actually made me laugh and that was the one where it showed their adviser when she was in a band ^_^

It wasn’t that bad of an anime, and it all depends on the type of anime you are into. You can’t listen to people who dislike this type of anime from the beginning.
I don’t hate this type nor do I really like it. It was funny, and had good character development, but the lack of a plot is what made a lot of people dislike it. But i can name plenty of animes just like this, lucky star for example, that had no point but people loved it. (I can’t watch lucky star because after the first 2 episodes of nothing but food talk, I got really bored.)

it’s too bad it was so short…I hope it will get another season because even though it felt like it has a little to almost no plot it was definitely a great anime. I really enjoyed it.

exactly.. that was the downside of this anime, it has almost “NO” plot at all.. but if it makes you laugh isnt that good enough? atleast makes you forget some of your problems hehehe ^^ and atleast you enjoy your 24mins of extra time with some fun ^^

Well the manga isnt’t that long either so the 1st (or only) season could only last for 12+1 episodes.
Generally K-ON had a “moe” fanbase. Everything else regarding this anime was pretty much on a low standard basis. If you like watching schoolgirls saying things in funny voices and do weird faces, this was/would be a festival for you.
