Thanks for providing the speedy avi encodes(my xbox with xbmc thanks you), I’m sure you’ve worked out all the bugs by now but just in case, when re-encoding high res mkv the font needs to be adjusted also or it comes out tiny.

The anime seems to be on a killing spree! Hakudoushi, Kagura, Moryomaru, the child (Naraku’s heart) and now Kikyo…5 deaths in 8 episodes…who’s next? Very sad

lathif00: why FLS don’t release 720 fisrth ?

Because I have to wait for the 1920×1080 Raws to be released first. I downscale those to 720p and it looks better than the DivX 720 version that other fansubs use.

Oh, and the 720p version is out (as well as the 1080p version). Check out Nyaatorrents or my blog.

@freeloader: Where’s your blog?

And i hate to be blunt and to the point, but how “good” exactly are your subs (as in accuracy of translation)? Meaning is the grammar all good and the translations correct? I read a few comments earlier in other episodes about people complaining about you leaving certain words like “onee-san” or jyaki or w/e with TL notes…i find it perfectly fine. I used to follow Inuyasha 4ever subs and i actually preferred them leaving things like that as is.

So…if your subs are like theirs, and you have 1080p releases (i love good quality), then i’m all for your subs.

@miroku:

Yes, I leave those terms untranslated, but since some people were complaining that they get distracted by translation notes, I’ve added an optional translation note subtitle track since episode 7.

Some also complained about karaokeing the attacks (e.g. Kaze no Kizu) even though I remember IY4E doing it that way so I don’t know. It looks good but some have complained that it is distracting to them. I guess I can’t please everyone.

As to how “good” my subs are, that is for you to decide because I can hardly be partial about my own work.

I don’t know if I’m allowed to advertise my blog here. I do have 1080p releases direct download links on my blog, though.

Just Google freel0aderfansubs and it should be the blogspot page.
