One of three Animes inspired by the same story, ‘The Romance of the Three Kingdoms’ that is airing this Spring 2010.

Man that must be one popular story, I don’t mind this show too much. think the Manga is probably better and this one gets too complicated sometimes with the i’m me and I was this person in the past and my job is to either repeat the same mistakes or break from them.

@Gejshaking, The Spring line-up is much better than the winter line-up, that really did suck ballz. Only one or two OK animes from the lot.

Yes, this is exactly what I’m saying. All the RAW groups take theie RAWS from PD (which are upscales) and just uploads them as they are. They don’t encode shit theirself.

Looks like the action sequences are improved from the previous seasons, although artwork still isn’t on the level of QB.

The 960×720 one definitely looks better. As far as I know, you can’t “add” quality by upscaling.

Seems like the 960×720 version is genuinely a higher-quality release.

What’s in your version is a lot of sharpening and 9001 grain added. Which MIGHT look good here, but the video will overall be destroyed with the sharpening.

I don’t really know what FAP means, but I’m sure the meaning your using it is jacking off “from google”?

To me, it appears as though the image is sharper and the colors are more vibrant. But most telling, is that the actual frame seems to show more; to observe this, note the yellow and black bar at the bottom. It’s both taller and wider in the 960×720 version, by a very small margin. While sharpness and color can be tweaked, actual image can’t be added by just converting/upscaling.

Definitely appears as though the 960×720 one is more than just an upscale.

THX for the upload. I’ve always enjoyed subs except in animes like Ikkitousen. There is just to much to watch to be distracted by the subs. But then again what choice do we have unless we learn to speak Japanese.

The Anisab RAW version clearly shows more of the actual picture (note how much more of Moutoku’s bandaged leg is shown). Additionally, the image is sharper, and the colors are more vivid. As compared to the more washed-out colors in your own screenshot. So, unless you’ve taken the screenshot incorrectly, the difference in quality, once again, is visibly apparent here.

Doesn’t seem like an upscaling at all.
