I think they dropped it, going to have to wait till someone makes a custom 720p… I don’t get what the idea is with people sticking to lower resolutions the 720p nowadays… I mean 350ish mb is not so much to download nowadays

@AsoSako: Some people can’t play 720p smoothly, and are on slow Internet plans or ones with low caps, so 350 MB is still a lot of data to them.
Now the people who need AVI and are playing them on their PC, I don’t know what’s with them. My old PC (which is *eight* years old now) could play even up to 576p MKV files with no problems. EIGHT YEARS OLD! Are people really still trying to use PC’s older than that and complaining about the folks releasing stuff in MKV only?
I still have that old Dell sitting here in my room — because I know I couldn’t get more than $50 for it today. So those guys complaining about MKVs could probably literally go to the dump and find a PC better than what they got.
As for Commie dropping this — that sucks. I haven’t seen an episode since the last one they released because I was waiting for them.

@nx6 I guess that makes sense, I do like the fan sub groups that do both encodes, for those of us who like 720p and those who can’t play them. Can’t complain too much though since fan subbing is done for free after all :) I do appreciate the effort
@scizzer12 Thanks you so much that is awesome!

@nx6 Oh and also if you look around the comments in previous episodes you will find links to 720 encodes…
Also about Commie, I am kinda disheartened with them, they just drop projects at complete random and never say anything…

@AsoSako: It’s really not always the resolution itself. There’s a reason most karaoke OP/ED are hardsubbed even when the same effects can be done softsubbed, VSFilter and be a real inefficient at times, hardsubbing eliminates it’s usage in playback. I think standard def encoding with hard subtitles using h264 profile that supports hardware acceleration (DXVA) in MP4 could easily be where the “lower quality” encodes could go to. Heck, use an iPhone or PSP-friendly setup and hit two birds with one stone for fans.
I’m asking around now to find out who’s doing a good job with this series. I like having “matched sets” of subs personally, but I guess I wont be able to this time.
June 25th, 2010 at 4:59 am
@nx6 I know what you are saying, I like having sets too, but sometimes it just seems impossible… Same with Working!! it seems, I can’t find all 720p eps from just one sub group just because such a thing does not exist… it’s sad but what can you do. And I see what you are saying there, that makes a lot of sense, but still I rather stick with a set of 720s then a set of lower quality episodes, but made by the same fansub group.

someone MU me :S

@AsoSako: I’m watching whoever come out here for Working, but then I’m replacing the files with Yus-m.3.3.w’s joint as they release. I don’t see it as a series that benefits a lot from being in HD to start with.

@Asosako – Not everyone can afford a computer that can handle 720 and up.
Me for example, I’m a student with no work (even thou I want it) and with poor parents who can’t help me buying a new one, I dont care about the size, it’s just that the episode lags on my comp no matter which player I use.

Anyone notice missing line in scizzer’s / [2funi]’s release? If you could make a patch, that would be awesome.
