I am assuming Nutbladers are speed subbers of a webrip? If not, are Tortoise any better?

There are suspicions that Nuttbladder is actually Spoon subs the guys that subbed season 1 & 2 (Fonts and style are similar) and if you go to their website it seems they put actually effort into the show.

Why was there a Nutbladder Ep1 episode posted and no Tortoise, if those subs are indeed troll subs?

Btw. who is Tortoise anyway. I think they are no less suspicious than Nutbladder.

I said people think that they are what used to be Spoon Subs due to their use of the same fonts and styling.

Technically it is the the right name for this season:

Hidamari Sketch × Hoshimittsu
ひだまりスケッチ×☆☆☆（ほしみっつ） lit. Hidamari Sketch x Three Stars

Actually the three stars are also used inside the Anime itself, so I also think that this is correct.
But if you have problems with those chars you could just rename those files that shouldn’t be a problem at all but those symbols should also be no problem to any new OS.

Ah. OK. But why exactly would it be “bad” if it was Spoon Subs?
Btw. I watched the Nutbladder episode 2 and the letter was different translated from what the read it. For once in the letter they said to meet in Hiro’s room and not in Yuno’s room. Is that the same translation in Tortoise?
Personally, I guess they more or less used the translation from x365 letter to Yuno and Miya and changed the names.
Well it isn’t too unlikely that the translator can only speak and understand Japanese but not write/read it.
But – as I can’t speak or read/write Japanese (at least yet, I still think that I might learn it someday I have time but definitely not too soon) – it would also be possible that the translation is correct and the Anime production used the “letter” from last time and didn’t change it correctly.

Actually, I never said Spoons Subs was bad (on a 10 point scale I’d give them a 6 or 7 just from what I’ve from their previous series). Personally, I am DLing Nuttbladder’s version to watch Hidamari Sketch because if it is actually Spoon subs, I can have continuity of subs in my archive.

I also noticed the mistake/ confusion, it doesn’t bother me, things like that happen. If a large number of people judge Tortoise to be the vastly superior version I might switch.

Ah no I didn’t mean to say that you said Spoon Subs was bad but because it seems that here Nutbladder isn’t posted and therefore…
