The series had a bit of a rocky start, but it picked up pretty quickly. Much more focused this time ’round, and I quite enjoyed it.

since the show is so popular i am sure they will continue it. plus the manga is still ongoing right? so maybe they will get more material.

Because the broadcast time is different. Also they covered chapters 50ish to 140ish. The current chapter is 241? Something like that. They also skipped a few filler chapters in there like when Hayate visited Risa’s house.

Actually I meant to say this, they could probably animate a third season with the current manga content but right now the current story arc is sort of still ongoing. I could see another season next year if this one sells well.

It’s not 50 because JC Staff does NEVER make a series with more then 26 episodes. [exception for Daa! Daa! Daa!, Prince of Tennis and Utena]

@beecher, who cares if they post “no-name” ones, just dont download it. i dont see how it can be “so cool” if they dont post it, it does not affect anything one way or the other.

This season has been multiple times better then the first. The first just relied on the normal filler humor of hayate to last through the whole season. This season actually had the humor + the serious stuff so it was way better at least for me.

I said this earlier but the reason this isn’t a year long show is two reasons, budget and broadcast time. First Season was on a children’s early morning timeslot. This season was on a late night otaku timeslot. I don’t think really any anime studios buy year long slots for those time slots.

2nd Season way better than the first, the first had its moments, and I liked the little quirks they added, but it was Random filler and put what was left of the plot out of order. The animation and colouring was also better on the 2nd than the first.
