If it comes out first, I’ll watch Shinji since the CR subs are no worse than Eclipse, and the superior video quality is a bonus. Not having an annoying karaoke is nice too.

Delicious Nagi is delicious. So hard to decide whether Hina or Nagi is better sometimes.

I don’t get it, why do some people prefer the 1st season it skipped a lot of the good stuff, and yet it was 75% filler?

And the filler wasn’t even that good.

2nd Season is so much better.

It was hilarious, unlike this season. Many of us watched Hayate for the comedy, which makes this season extremely disappointing. This season is just a bunch of romance and drama.

Following the manga != Better.

1st season was so much better.

I was talking about the last episode, an anime with a second season usually picks up on the last episode of the first.

laserjay: This season reset the time-line and went back to before that episode.

i gotta agree with Lier, I watched Hayate and it was one of the first anime I watched, and it was hard to understand the references they made xD

This season is still enjoyable though

Laserjay, you said following the Manga is better, thus by that logic the 2nd season is better since the 2nd season follows the Manga and the 1st is mostly fillers and the bits from the manga are out of order. Not only that they skipped a lot of good content.

I guess it all depends on whether or not you think we need more generic romantic comedies. I, for one, do not, which is why this season is disappointing for me. It’s more boring, less entertaining, there’s more drama, and J.C. Staff is basically just animating panels from the manga, rather than giving the show a life of its own like Synergy SP did with the first season. The first season was upbeat, comedic, and filled with fantastic references that had me laughing constantly. The second season is still enjoyable, but the fact that it has drifted a lot further into the realm of generic romantic comedy has severely detracted from the entertainment value, at least for me.
