Set 300 years in the future Japan, the world is left in shambles after genetic modification of plants to test their ability to grow in harsh environments goes wrong and the plants develop a consciousness. The modernized world is reduced to primitive shambles as a new lifestyle grows and the forest dominates through their control of the water sources.
Agito lives happily in Neutral city and accidentally stumbles upon a Stay Field which houses cryogenically stored humans. The remaining active pod contains Tula who wakens to a strange world. Unwilling to accept this strange world Tula turns to another past human, Shunack who plans to rid the world of the forest using technology, his intensified human abilities and Tula’s father’s invention to help achieve his goals.
Hoping to live in harmony with the forest, Agito becomes an intensified human as well. Intensified humans borrow their superhuman powers from the forest and if used improperly will result in the permanent transformation of the user into a tree. Using his new found power, Agito sets out to rescue Tula from the force that plans to destroy all hope of unity with the forest.
Like in the phuzy-ratings, the animation quality from GONZO is expected. The high quality standards are what I have learned to love about GONZO. Kokia lends her voice to this wonderful production allowing for a seamless integration of music and animation. My personal favourite part of this movie are the forest dragons! RAWR! Enjoy!

My most recently watched anime movie is “Giniro no Kami no Agito”, or “Spirits of the past” from GONZO. The captivating animation along with the song “Chouwa oto ~with reflection~” by KOKIA at the beginning of the movie only serves to propel the movie to a higher level of intrigue. The background scenery is expected from GONZO; well drawn and detailed beyond belief. I don’t want to spoil any part of the movie so I’ll just leave the following phuzy-ratings:
Story: 8/10
Animation: 9/10
Character: 7/10
Overall: 8.5/10
A good movie to relax with on a lazy summer day! Their original soundtrack is a must! Torrents should be available around. Nipponsei does a great job of torrenting OSTs like this. If I had more time and a better bandwidth I would upload DDLs. P.S. The forest dragons are awesome!!! This series has been subbed by ureshii thanks for their hard work!

This one was released on January 7, 2006. I like to watch newer movies for the high quality and because I only started anime about a year ago. And yes, I do randomly download movies to watch but I research a lot before hand to see if it is even worth watching.

The anime Series “Naruto” has four movies at the moment. 3 from the original series and one from Naruto Shippuden. Then Full Metal Alchemist has a movie and I forgot to say I’ll posting the Death Note Live action movie and the anime “Bleach” has a movie aswell.

Well, Naruto I started when it came out but I didn’t really expand my anime series until about 2007. I’ve watched the first Naruto movie, and the shippuuden one as well. I prefer the shippuuden one a lot more. I have the 2nd and 3rd movies but no real motive to watch them as of now. I might start if I’m gonna be review more movies! Ahaha. I also have the bleach movie and I believe the Deathnote live action but yet to watch them. I was never really a FMA fan so I probably won’t be doing a fair review of that movie if I did watch it. I have a lot of movies to watch this summer…and a lot of writing! Hopefully people will enjoy it too!

ive seen the death note live action movie lol its funny. i think their are two of them. ive seen all the naruto movies but yet to see the Shippuden Movie, ill just watch it here whenever it comes up. hmm movies..all the movies that i liked are old… like Venus Wars, Macross Plus, Gunsmith Cats, Armitage, etc as u can they are a bit old but great movies. i have yet to watch an anime movie from the year 2005 and up so i hope these movies posted here will help me with that problem ;p.

Buny-summary for “Sword of the Stranger”.
In the age where feudal lords were still around, a young Kotaro and his dog Tobimaru are hunted by the Mings. The fearsome and skilled fighters ruthlessly search for their target. In his solitary run-and-hide lifestyle, Kotaro comes across Nanashi or “nameless”, a samurai who carries a sealed sword.
Kotaro hires Nanashi to escort him to a temple which he thought to be his sanctuary. As their journey progresses, Kotaro and Nanashi form strong bonds which would be later pushed to its limits. Betrayed by the monks who feared death, catalyzed by the feudal lord’s greed, and discovered by the Mings, Kotaro is flung into a sacrificial ritual and separated from Nanashi.
Nanashi comes to face his past mistakes as well as the Ming warriors as he tries to rescue Kotaro. Discovering his new bonds and breaking old ones, Nanashi rips open his sealed sword and leaves the past behind only to face the Ming warriors and Rarou who seeks only to find and defeat the strongest fighters.
A relatively simple story but a good one nonetheless. The dramatic soundtrack serves only to intensify the bloody action scenes which dominate throughout the film. The smooth animation from BONES is flawless and propels the blood and gore to even greater heights (literally). The flashy fights deserve several watches to fully comprehend which severed body part belongs to which corpse in the shower of red. An action and animation driven movie, “Sword of the Stranger” really hits the spot if you need some high quality killer movie for this summer. Watch, re-watch, enjoy.
