Yes, it does suck to have a blinking map of Japan and regardless of the venue I’m still disappointed that so many people are bitching so fervently over having to deal with a little obstruction and a time delay on a clean source when the cause of the issue is so serious. Deal with it.

Not related to this but related to “Bakemonogatari 14″.
I think that this might be useful for those who have playback issues.
The .mkv uses the FourCC “FLV4″ for the video in this file.
However, that FourCC isn’t perfectly correct or at least not that common. The correct one is “VP6F” which is why most players can’t handle the file correctly. For MPlayer it would be possible to create a codecs.conf to include FLV4 for the ffvp6f decoder and vp6f decoder to get it working OR
what would be BEST is to use mkvtoolnix to edit the stored FourCC to VP6F (this can be done quite easily via GUI, select the video track than to format specific options and there you can set the FourCC). At least Mplayer should be able to handle the file just fine afterwards.

They just need to show the map for a BRIEF! A BRIEF ok?! Not for the ENTIRE episode ok?! I don’t see WHY they need to show the map all the time. Damn it!

To everyone complaining about the map: We will put out a v2 once a clean source is available. Until then, we thought it would be better to giv the fans the choice whether or not they wanted to watch the episode WITH the warning anyway. Personally, I think it’s a bit annoying, but you soon manage to ignore it, and rather concentrate on the content.

You guys complaints too much,the japanese people are watching it with the map too and you guys are watching it for free and it’s illegal so stop whining and watch it silently.

reason why the map is even there you inconsiderate asshats is because Japan is expected to face a tsunami AFTER Chile’s devastating 8.8-mag earthquake. You can see the southeastern shores of the nation highlighted with colors indicating moderate to extreme areas that could be hit. ONLY reason why the map shows because it’s to WARN the japanese people of what’s to come.

Okay, one thing though, the Tsunami is going to pretty much have dissipated by the time it gets there. Not even over 15ft. Preople really are over reacting to it. It they were fifty eighty foot waves, then by all means, warn us. But There were waves over my fathers head at the beach…. We were fine. >.> The 2004 Tsunami killed 200k people. Hey Booyadude, why do you guys add underscores to the episodes when uploading to Megaupload.

I can understand Hotfile which doesn’t really support spaces or Brackets for that matter, but megaupload supports both. :/

I didn’t even mind about the map in the 720p version since it doesn’t take up much space, but if there’s a clean version i’ll take one.
