@DarphBobo J downloader does have a schedule function i’ve been usign it the last couple of days it took me awhile to find it :D you have to enable it in the addons menu

then create two schedules one for start time and another for stop time

I got slingshot internet now with my awesome offpeak free internet so i set up J-downloader to download in that time

I’m not sure if this would help you schedule megaupload links as i’m not sure how your doing it, but have a look anyway

The firefox extension skipscreen automates a lot of the download preoceedures of popular file sharing sites (ie, with it a rapidshare link just requires you to enter the url and skipscreen does all the button pussing for you)

Now, if you get the version of their web site (www.skipscreen.com) it has the added bonus of a captcha reader (mozilla won’t host something like that so it’s self hosted. basically they embedded some guy’s greasemonkey script) so with megaupload, enter the url and that’s it.

After adblock plus, it’s my favorite extension

Lol dw, it’s a nifty tool, just poorly designed and engineered.

It’s a good example of something with the functionality, but not the intuitiveness one would expect. Mind you, it has improved a lot over the time I have been using it.

umm darph, it has a schedule function.

Settings -> Plugins &Add-ons -> Extensions (Select extensions and tick schedule)

Then via the Addons menu at the top, u can make a schedule.

Booya does not subscribe to that link protector bullshit. Just masking a link won’t save it.

As was discussed in the topic, ppl will steal the link to put on their site regardless, and once the file is reported (not the link), it is deleted from MU anyway. Making it harder for us to get it isn’t really gonna stop this problem. It’s just a nuisance.

Somebody prove me wrong, but I have seen a heap of the “protected” links get deleted.

@ Cal: have used Jdownloader for a while, but it dosn’t have a schedule function, so using Free Download Manager atm, but that can’t deal with links to M/U etc that use captcha. Zomg gives you a link that lasts for 8hours once you do the captcha so you can schedule it easily.
The hunt for a new d/l manager continues.

Really enjoying this series as the old one was just too short.

@ lisyaoran: Booya dosn’t do Zomgupload links. Not sure what the reason is, but it’s his choice what links he posts up in the end.
I wouldn’t mind them either as they’re the only ones that I can schedule with my d/l manager so I don’t use up all my peak bandwidth.
If anyone knows a good d/l manager that can schedule M/U and H/F links I’d be eternally greatful.
