Animetake’s quicker but getfansub uploads most raws and subs to MU, often within 24h.

The character designs are being kept closer to the original manga. They’re not fatter but they’re more chibi-styled which illustrates the comic nature of the manga.

@Otaku, it does make a big difference. In FMA, Rose had dark skin, which shows that she has Ishbalan blood, which introduced the Ishbalan early in the series, but without stating the name of their race. It also showed that there were people who didn’t care who was Amestrian or Ishbalan, and racism didn’t exist in some areas.

But anyways, the Elric brothers are supposed to have gold hair and eyes, which are taken after Hoennheim. FMA chose a darker color to try to get the golden color. This one is just bright gold, I guess.

Well I don’t remember ever reading that she has Ishbalan blood
The main thing I noticed was the difference in her hair colour, not a bad difference but it’s always strange seeing someone with a different colour

It wasn’t mentioned in the manga. Remember: the FMA anime storyline differed from the manga. Rose shouldn’t appear again with a major role in Brotherhood, just like she doesn’t have another major role in the manga.

Shinsen is good, no need to go to a different subgroup. Anyone else realize how this version is like so much more joke oriented and has WAY less serious action? I suppose its only been 3 episodes, but still i like the original i tthink.

I hope so, the last director was amazing with the show though, he knew how to keep the suspense up, and make everything worth seeing. Especially while killing off characters…

Because the first one stopped folowing the manga about the time when Greed appeared, and the actual story is quite different to the one the anime decided to go with
and Ed actually grows taller in the manga =o

Definitely better than the previous anime!!!

Looking forward to the next ep!

I agree with diveche. Why is this only a remake of Season 1? Shouldn’t brotherhood continue after the Movie, to continue the story of the Manga? Or is this FMA Kai?

Continuing the story of the manga by carrying on after the movie would be impossible
Yes this is pretty much FMA Kai, but there are loads more differences in the original FMA than the original DBZ

It doesn’t continue after the last anime episode because they didn’t want it too
They wanted to show everyone who doesn’t read the manga how the story really goes and once the manga has finished, the real ending
